http://video.aol.com/video-category/star-trek/112182 star trek tos episodes for free... gene roddenberry being a 33rd degree freemason, he puts all kind of quaint little masonic references in them... ==================== http://video.aol.com/partner/cbs/star-trek...aPoa44N2jZcrb_1 like the dress uniforms in the "journey to babel" episode kirk's has little triangles in the form of a pentagram mccoy's has a templar cross ==================================== http://video.aol.com/partner/cbs/star-trek...1bctjTsmJTsPvnY but my favorite has to be in the episode "shore leave" when the redheaded female crew member asks a supercomputer for a princess' dress, puts it on, and declares herself a "princess of the blood royale" the original french royal family, the merovingians, had red hair, and declared themselves of the blood royale, which is also termed the grail...the blood royale being the bloodline of christ and right afterwards, mccoy gets run through by a jousting knight on horseback |

i adore star trek. the opening theme music is the most beautiful music ive heard to this day.i am transported when i hear it. im quite sure U are onto something Necra! U have sharp eyes... ive never looked closely into the symbolism in star trek. so this is quite interesting to me. didnt Gene Roddenberry state he got most of his ideas from dreams, or am i mistaken? seems the only technology we DONT have from that show (publicly known anyway) is the atomic teleporting. spock is my favorite... always spock. hmmm, i wonder what william shatners pics would come out like? |

i just found it interesting that "bones" (skull and bones?) the doctor was hitting on this way younger redheaded female crew member in the episode "shore leave" and then she puts on a medieval princess outfit with a tall pointed hat with a gauzey veil on it, and then declares herself a princess of the blood royale, which means the grail bloodline of christ in france, the merovingians and right afterwards mccoy gets run down and run through by a lance-wielding knight on horseback and later mccoy is brought back from death, although there is no mention in the script of this miraculous affair the doctor's dress uniform has four little triangles arranged in a templar cross star trek has been replaced or maybe supplemented by stargate sg-1...which has the u s air force fighting humanoids with actual snakes integrated into their nervous systems, cameos by two successive air force general chiefs-of-staff, and has many of the extras played by actual air force personnel wearing air force uniforms...which begs the question, do we have a gou'ald plated military that has become embroiled in a shooting war with the reptilian orion queens? nobody else that i have put that question seems to be bothered much about it, but for some reason it really raises the hair on my hackles and star trek mostly depresses me, now when i view these episodes...the "enterprise" was a floating death platform all through the history of the u s navy...the latest incarnation is a nuclear powered polluter of the high seas maybe it would be laughs if the robot data was flogged throughout starfleet and keelhauled under the enterprise in the vacuum of space...since they base starfleet on the early english navy (number one, make it so, penny-whistling aboard officers, etc) |

ive heard everything from that star trek is bad to star trek is a message from alien producers to help save humanity. the navy thing also would have to do with that the eventual militarization of space by humans would probably be based on "Ship" technology. It wouldn't be too much about jets since we are bound to run into countless atmospheres. In space warfare, as in modern warfare, the concept of ground forces are antiquated with the advent of technology. The use of ground forces are almost always merely for show at this point, perhaps to point a dictatorial argument in a particular region. Not much benefit comes from occupation since you are merely raiders and targets. If truly a region was a threat, about every nation with a even moderate military could put a stop to it. Though they would need to navigate the political waters which nullifies the process. but yes the water and stargate reference make sense. what is quite profound about star trek is the sporadic and phenomenal re-emergence of it throughout our recent national history and when. The first star trek emerged in the thick of the sixties mentality. You had acid affecting popular culture and people confused and demoralized from viet nam. The world was a little more crazy, but people were actually in a prime mental condition, as part of a campaighn since the atomic holocaust comited by the us, to prepare the younger generation for acceptance of corporate mentality and so called economic security, which would lead to further acceptances basically, such as a 50 hour work week, which is the unnoficial standard at this point. But anyways, it seems that the "Prime Directive" was a a result of the peace, love, and happiness mentality that was the percieved and actual enemystill then. So they got ratings. And despite fine ratings was cancelled later by the way. The prime directive states something officially to the effect of if we go exploring the galaxy, we better not mess around with the natural development of any species we come across if they are technologically inferior. In other words they dont need your help! Well what were we doing in viet nam? Helping a technologically inferior culture and killing the hell out of them. But it is not as simple as that. In the context of the show, kirk violates the prime directive all the time for the greater good. anyways a few things come to mind: if star trek came about from aliens as a message of peace, they wanted to warn us about two things for sure 1. If we go to space we are sure to need to understand the law regarding the treatment of less developed planetary life. 2. This law IS in fact violated though. Possibly WE have been violated and are the result of what happens when you try to solve other cultural problems with your own cultural values. if star trek is not special though and just some show, then it contains TONS of symbology that i have no idea why the elites would want to expose and familiarize us with. |
