so, i guess the non-gmo soy still has the toxins also?...i have been going through a bit of a dilemna about soy and tofu lately...so many negatives out there about soy..

for vegetarian eating, what is a decent substitute for soy/tofu. mr ed.??.. [besides cheese and beans]..

thanks.

I dont mean to be critical of americans, but nutritionists have been saying since the 70's that soy is not a good thing to base your diet around. Americans just jumped right on board this stuff. In countries who produce soy its seen as a minor component of a majorly fish based diet. Soy as a main dietary component has been linked to hair loss, breasts in men, efemination...the list goes on. Plus if you think about it it was the first mass produced foreign gathered crop next to tea. Any time you take a plant and force it to grow as fast as possible and as big as possible the quality of the plant is going to suffer. It would seem that the quality of soy has gone way down as well. Due to production expansion over the last decade i might guess. Plus did you really think that something the MSM and trend dictates as healthy would actually be healthy?

Sparrow---------I don't really know--------I have not been to scientific about this----------never was into soy and kind of just eat what my body calls for----I do eat cheese but I think alot of cheese uses renet or some such thing which I understand is a by product of pork so I basically only eat cheese from fresh milk, but not much------It's been two years and 5 months now----I noticed now too that my body craves fresh fruits and herbs salads and nuts-------everytime I eat cooked foods it taste dead and I can't really feel the nourishment whereas the fresh foods I can feel the nourishment-----I,m leary of water cause I don't know what there putting in it so I juice a lot of oranges and pineapples and also drink a lot of coconut juice--------I do eat whole grain breads and crackers. Awhile back I thought that unfertilized eggs would be ok-----boy was that a mistake ------gave me the runs and felt like I had a flu bug coming on--------eggs are poison at least to me at this stage---------think of it this way -----just look what an egg turns into and that is what you are eating-----chickens are pretty nasty looking birds-----come to think of when I used to eat meat------every time I went to the chicken place and ate seems like I would alway come down with a cold afterwards. I eat alot of tomato and avocado sandwiches--------I do make a pasta everynow and then but load it up with a fresh tomato sauce or fresh herb sauce---------sometimes I go to a sushi place here and get veggie rolls-------I just kind of play it by ear. A friend of mine make homemade blackberry wine and gives me some------I think it's pretty good for you as this is a live wine and has the microrganism in it where as bottled wine is dead and I can feel the nourishment from it-------I would guess that this is the type of wine they drank in Jesus's time etc. Also I have been sungazing upon occasion in the early morning and the late afternoon and only do it when the sun is low enough and doesn't bother my eyes and my vision is much better than two years ago
