some say shapeshifting is just frequency shifting is this an homage, then  One of the largest changest in the 1996 redesign is the dramatic change in the size and quality of the image of Benjamin Franklin on the front. This redesign contains several new anti-counterfeiting measures, including a watermark of Franklin on the right side and optically variable ink (also known as color-shifting ink) that changes from black to green depending on viewing angle.
