I have observed a strange phenomenon which seems to be growing more by the day. The phenomenon can only be described perhaps as "Willful Ignorance." It is one thing to be ignorant because you simply do not know any better. That is understandable. But it seems to me that there is a rapidly growing number of willfully ignorant people. I wonder how much of it has to do with the towers by the side of the road or what, but it is hard not to notice. The most intelligent, insightful, even the most kind and nice people are willfully choosing to bury their heads in the sand and cop to the most ignorant viewpoint they can think of. Maybe others have noticed too. Lets start with the word "Human." Mankind has never been refered to as human. In fact if the word itself is examined it is "Man" with a hu attached. There could be a greater significance that I am missing here, but "Human" is not what I am. That is because I am a MAN. This feeds into the whole soulless being issue. Souless "Humans" are not "Man." "Man" is not "Human." A "Human" could be inhabited by something other than a soul, but a man cannot. Probably what drives me crazy the most is people's growing ignorance regarding their own Country. These people went to school, they had to, maybe not all of them. You learn about the United States of America in 1st grade though so come on. There is no such place as "America." There are two american continents, north and south. The united states of america are isolated to North america. So therefore if you are a citizen of the united states, then you could not possibly reside in north and south america. If you are a citizen of the united states and refer to yourself as an "American" then you are a victim of ignorance and are making united states citizens sound stupid. And if you still want to refer to my country as "America" after reading this then you are willfully ignorant and should get out of it. People on another continent call anyone from north or south america an "American." Also, a "Nation" only consists of one race and/or religion. The united states of america is not a "Nation." It never was either because the pilgrims did not oversee the declaration of independence. So also get out of my country if you insist on calling it a nation because you are willfully ignorant. Another issue is the ignorance with wich you hear people refer to the "Government." Due to the fact that the United States of America only acknowledges a government "FOR" "BY" and "OF" the "PEOPLE" any citizen critisizing the "Government" is critsiizing themself. If you hate the government then you hate yourself! What is so complicated about this? Doublethink victims have an excuse...they are brainwashed. But an intelligent citizen of the United States of America needs willfull ignorance to refer to something called "THE" government. No buddy, "YOU" are the government and if you aren't willing to govern then leave our country. i love you all as i love myself |
