John 23, that's the strike through. The button for it is located next to the underline button in the editor. |

I thought (S & L) were both the same thing. About the Chinese, had no idea so many had died the last few decades. How very sad people anywhere have to suffer. But matriarchal? I don't see that at all. Looks patriarchal to me. Women always have to please the men to the super nth degree or get dumped and have no recourse (back then). Now, I don't know how they do things now; but I do know for a fact that since they are limited to having 1 or 2 children in a lifetime, the majority always want boys and fawn over them like most world cultures today. They may have had a few humdinger scheming controlling leftover royal wives (after the king died) in history, but other than that, it is always men doing stuff. And I don't know, but if memory serves, the leftover wife would've not been in power at all if there had not been a royal "minor" son. That is my impression. Wish I could find the place again, but once stumbled across a whole thing about the ancient kingdom of (Genghis Khan?) area. Something about dog shapeshifters and there was artwork about it too. Then the reptilians defeated the dog people. One of the dog people was a king too. Reading about the dog shifters in Japan reminded me of this. |

I read the book Wild Swans which gave me a good insight into the Chinese psych, It gives the personal story of the lives of three generations of Chinese women. For Centuries, the Chinese have had a long history of being bullied & pushed around & they have endured hardships which have given them a strong survival instinct. The English, at one stage being their Emperial rulers, forbade them to walk in their own parks, & that whilst turning them all into Opium addicts. I don't know what it is that gives a particular race the perception & ability of being cruel & insensitive, their actions seem to imply & portray them that way such as their mistreatment of animals with the skinning dogs & cats live, the infanticide & the alleged baby eating. Not an isolated event, certain tribes in the past, such as some Pacific Islanders where noted for eating babies, not sure how frequently? but the fact is, that in this day & age this type of practise amongst the supposed well educated, doesn't particarly suprise me but is incomprehensible. There definately is a sense that the Chinese seem to hold life cheap which could be a reflection & manifestation of the lifestyle they've been moulded into over time, whether it's genetic or a flaw that's shared & is created through years of oppression. They are not encouraged to express sentiment or emotion other than towards what their government allows, this oppression creates Spiritual stagnation, they're literally not allowed to grow or express themselves & any race of people in these circumstances will start to develop & conduct themselves in a detrimental way, the behaviour that is being portrayed in the West is not much different as far as a manipulated society that is losing all sense of themselves & their inner creativity, just another manifestation of a people losing their way & deprived of the truth. The old adage, Get treated like an animal, will start acting like one. The positive side to the Chinese race is their rich Spiritual heritage of wisdom & knowledge, that if taped into & given the opportunity & access to it would make them very prosperous & powerful in a self empowered way not as a threat. Their knowledge if allowed to be practised as a nation would have been a valuable contribution & a treasured piece to the healing & awakening of all humanity. |

I've done business with Chinese people who are a delight! Both in and outside of eBay. I really like Chinese food, there was a favorite restaurant I liked to go to in Tucson when I lived there years ago. Some of my favorite words "I await your good guidance" I got from a Chinese man I did business with. I use those words frequently as they have a wonderful ring to them. I recall reading about a teen or college aged guy from the United States who went to school in China, maybe it was through the student exchange program. He said they didn't really get into the things he was into... like how he liked to 'rock out'... things like teenagers like in United States, that they were more serious and much less frivolous. Then there is reciting the Fa... will get to that. There are all kinds in China just like anywhere else... there are the good guys and the bad guys, but people are still just people. Pictures say a lot. Here are some from the aftermath of an earthquake that wasn't too very long ago. There are a total of 119 photos in szbluewater's photostream, uploaded on May 15, 2008. ![]() http://www.flickr.com/photos/12602068@N00/2495779783/ ![]() http://www.flickr.com/photos/12602068@N00/...in/photostream/ ![]() http://www.flickr.com/photos/12602068@N00/...in/photostream/ ![]() http://www.flickr.com/photos/12602068@N00/...in/photostream/ ![]() http://www.flickr.com/photos/12602068@N00/...in/photostream/ ![]() http://www.flickr.com/photos/12602068@N00/...in/photostream/ ![]() http://www.flickr.com/photos/12602068@N00/...in/photostream/ ![]() http://www.flickr.com/photos/12602068@N00/...in/photostream/ |
