wio, there is also 'the way back machine' for visiting old webpages. I never said it but I visited and read around at your old forum using a link to it you had posted somewhere here a while back. Lose the link, and lose the ability, but if you still have link addresses it can be used to visit archived pages of sites that are no longer up. There is a problem with images, though. Sometimes they're in the archived pages, and sometimes they are not. It's about 50/50 from what I've seen.

Dang. I went to adjust some things at that yahoo group to make it look like a back-up site for Free Thinkers and before I was finished editing, my Internet connection cut off. At first, it seemed to be just at yahoo and I could still get a page open here, but in about a minute it all went and I had to reset my modem to get it back up. It's been a while since I had an abrupt cut-off like that. It took me by surprise. Edited by yass, Mar 22 2011, 08:42 PM.

thanx YASS.. well the geeks are making threats... which means they plan to eventually take this forum down. as stated.. if you can tell us where to go.. doesnt mean we have to have a total backup.. just a place to go.. or url.. so that when they DO the dirty job.. we can ALL at least meet somewhere.. to consider the next step.. there are reasons im saying this because of certain things i know that i dont want to put on the forum.. as to who actually owns this forum.. ah ho WIO |
