this one could be space junk: ftp://eol.jsc.nasa.gov/ISD_highres_STS088_STS088-724-68_3.JPG but it makes me notice how clean it is in orbit. looking through picture after picture, i am seeing nothing suggesting there is any kind of garbage problem out there like i have heard. :ermm: cut from original: ![]() inverted, darkened with gamma: ![]() inverted/gamma again: ![]() Edited by robin, Jan 5 2011, 12:06 PM.

throughout the ISS photographs U will OFTEN see faint black fuzzy circles:![]() they are NOT defects of the camera like i thought...\ ![]() autolevels: ![]() this one is covered by clouds: ![]() autolevels: ![]() im not sure WHAT they are, only that they CANNOT be a defect. also throughout the photographs, snake forms are found. here is one and ill add more of these later= cut from original: ![]() invert: ![]() gamma to darken: ![]() autolevels, solarize, autolevels to brighten: ![]() the colors tell me the head is warmer, on the right, while the tail is much cooler: ![]() adding original photo reduced in size: ![]() lower left corner Edited by robin, Dec 28 2010, 11:59 AM.

several people in the glp thread keep speaking of what they call space elevators= lines that reach the stars.they believe some are pictured here: this is an ISS photo someone else posted, they enhanced with contrast: ![]() ![]() whats interesting to me is how the light is square:
