 I don't know if they are the same winding river in Bosnia. When I visited curly's thread, called 'Holy wells' all his pictures were un-hosted and not showing. I thought he had some pictures of that river but I can't say for sure now. His thread was composed of pictures from nature and stills he'd taken from google earth of places all over this planet. That's what your image put me in mind of though. It'd be nice to know where it was taken.

The legend of azbaha (giant serpent)

Now I will go in opposite direction because I want to follow the legend. The end of this story is just above the two lakes.

So the legend says that long time ago People lived peacefuly, and respected nature, but they started to cut trees in the forest, got too loud on celebrations... and who knows what else. And, azbaha... beast as any other, did not like to be disturbed. It lived in canjon, just under the village. A village which had no name at the time. So on one cold night when villager were celebrating again, azbaha had it enough! So it went after them, with only one thing on its mind... to eat them all.
So it came out of the canjon, went upwards, and darkness and cold were following it... and the trail left was white of frost...and flowers died around:

That waterfall was not there, but the beast created it on its path. 402 meters... No hight could stop this beast from its mission.

So it climbed up and came into green valley, and curved acress... and cold water instantly filled its path. Even todey, the water flows the same way. The beast's way. The water was named studeni potok (cold creek in english).

One legend says that azbaha then came to the village and ate villagers, but other is probaby true.
...Azbaha made a lot of noise while climbing up the rocky canyon that villagers heard it. So they hid under rocks on nerby hill, but the beast had no trouble finding them.
Villagers had only one thing left to save them...prayer (Bosnian: molitva). So they prayed and prayed... and as the beast was preparing to strike suddeny the prayers were answered, and azbaha turned to stone.

That is when the village got the name: Umoljani. From molitva, a prayer...

i can picture the snake sliding its big self through that grass...it left a trail of ice they said.


is it possible that these giant snakes have power over the elements enough to survive where it is very cold?
an ice snake, so to speak?

someone or someTHING has enough power over the elements, enough to change a snake to stone.

Mystery Giant Skeleton Satellite Images

ive seen this video before and i really like it.
a giant insect looking skeleton object out in the desert next to a sacred religious mountain.

would not surprise me if that is the terrible truth because i can show U a giant insects ufo...they do exist.
