Let me post the rest just in case. When I went to that link it said some creepy stuff that scared me a bit, but some of the pics were very pretty, didn't look at all of them. This concludes the hex. These last 2 show where it meets non-hex areas. The whole hex thing reminds me of a diskette data pattern. Interesting that inside the hex they are growing crops in the shape of data sectors (I think, right?). I really would like to know where this is at, as someone is really innovative. Maybe it's Mars. No matter where it is, it's neat looking and no space wasted. People live in the center and farm outwards. We do that somewhat already....live in the city and farm in the country, just that everyone insists on doing things in squares (which I don't like, so boring!). Have a few other types to post. |

The planet pic has some things off to the right in space. The mountain pic, would make an unusual desktop pic, I like to see patterns. But this pattern seems unusual to me, may be natural, but I haven't seen it on natl geo yet (but there's lots of things not on natl geo I KNOW!). |

And my escapade (I really don't want to do this again, I had NO idea they were going to a non-public site!) would not be complete without the other 2 oddball pics. After watching that show about African rift last night and the volcano pit, had to get these. A lot of the pictures there were just plain unremarkable, like just plain sand, plain ocean, farmland out the gazoo, some mountains (most not too hot), cities and ports...usual satellite stuff. Oh look....NOW it does the 'add more than two' thing below during edit..... Edited by epona, Dec 24 2010, 06:24 PM.
