Acámbaro: has been notable as a point of controversy in the field of archeology as the source of the Acámbaro figures, a collection of about 32,000 clay figurines discovered by German archaeologist Waldemar Julsrud in 1944 near the city's most prominent landmark, the Cerro del Toro (Bull Hill). The figures are claimed to be hoaxes, as some of the figurines resembled dinosaurs (thus implying that man and dinosaurs co-existed) and their discovery is used by some as evidence to support creationism. Many of the Julsrud finds are now on display at the Museo Waldemar Julsrud. Charles H. Hapgood was a history professor who began, at the prompting of some students, to look into the search for the lost continent of Atlantis. That lead him to the ideas of Hugh Achincloss Brown: that the entire earth could be made to be repositioned at a radically new angle on its axis of rotation. Hapgood realized that the entire planet did not have to be repositioned around its axis. Only the outer crust need move, just as the loosely peeled skin of an orange could be slid around the unmoved inner slices.Hapgood ultimately revised key parts of his thinking because his calculations convinced him that the mass of the ice cap on Antartica could not destabilize the earth's rotation. Engineer Hugh Achincloss Brown first got alarmed when he heard that woolly mammoths had been found frozen in Siberia. Their healthy appearance and the good cold-storage quality of their flesh indicated, he says, that they must have been "quick-frozen" like Birdseye peas.Brown concludes the earth's poles were once in different places. Siberia was warm, and the mammoths fattened on greenery. But little by little, ice accumulated near the cold poles. Then, to balance the mass of the ice, slightly off center, the earth toppled over. The oceans sloshed out of their beds. When things quieted down, the earth was a sad mess, rotating on a new axis. The North Pole, settling near Siberia, quick-froze the mammoths. This capsizing of the earth happens periodically, Brown believes. The last time it caused Noah's flood. One pole was then in the Sudan, and Noah and his family lived in temperate South Africa. "In the 600th year of Noah's life . . . Bible passage: were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened."* Not being a geophysicist, Noah did not realize that the poles had shifted. Now, says Brown, the thing is about to happen again. The ice in the Antarctic is getting thicker and heavier. The earth is wobbling. Soon the great slosh will come. Most of mankind will be drowned and the rest will enjoy new climates. HOW could this be, that the arctics are extremely cold? To make something cold it must be absence of heat. To make light it must be absent of darkness. Space is cold very cold could there be a hole in space or simply no atmosphere surrounding our polar caps? This may explain the frequent earthquakes and other geological mishaps. Remember I spoke of the polar caps being giant freezers you probably could have eaten the wooly mammoths meat that was discovered frozen in Siberia although it may have been freezer burned :-/ |

Thanks Wiolaw I have taken all the words from UTZ and went exploring and the adventure was intresting as you can see from all my replies. Like the bible their are so many ways to interpret it but their is only one truth. |
