hollow earth, interesting...as the hueco mundo entities are called "hollows"...but they appear out of rifts that open up in the sky the anime "bleach" has many story arcs that are not related to the spanish "hueco mundo" main arc...but the current offerings on goodanime and crunchyroll are related to the main arc the main perpetrator is called aizen, and he uses a powerful form of hypnotism to control his adversaries and henchmen alike the japanese masons seem to be intrigued with the magickal/occultic traditions of different cultures, and this is reflected in any number of their manga offerings |

Matthew 11:7-15 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+11&version=NASB Some other interesting references I ran across while searching: http://www.christianityoasis.com/TellMeTheStoryOfJesus/SpiritOfElijah.htm
I thought the bit about the devils was interesting.
http://www.answers2prayer.org/bible_questions/Answers/text_explanation/Elijah.html Jesus did not claim to be God. He referred people to the "Lord God". The heart is the seat of God and we're supposed to use our intellect with the assent of the heart. I have to say out of all of the books composed in the Bible there is only one I'm most leery about as to being valid, and that's the book of Revelations. That's the book that divides people, the one people use to say "You can't get into paradise unless you go through ME (and me only) I am the ticket to GOD." A lot of so-called Christians like throwing that up in people's faces without even understanding the guidance given them while Jesus was alive and walking and talking, [or those that came before him, like Moses] as to how they should be practicing, and why, towards other humans. Doing all we can to lift people out of oppression is more important than worshiping a prophet as a Diety and being arrogant and unhelpful to other humans as a result of it. Every prophet has suffered hardships and abuses at some point... it's sort of like training and develops the character. Arrogance? I don't think so. Humility? absolutely. In his life as a man who was alive he said he was the son of man. If he was construed otherwise it's because people twisted it. The book of revelations is allegedly Jesus speaking after dying on the cross. So, Jesus basically said John the Baptist was Elijah, that he'd already come but people didn't recognize him and that he was the greatest of men born of women, but that the least in the kingdom of Heaven is even greater than he [John the Baptist]. He was deflecting attention from himself and whether people took what he said at face value? Not my problem if they don't or did'nt but I think he was being straight? I think he admired John for detaching himself from the 'system' and eating yucky things like locusts and not having to play the 'game' by being dependent on the 'system' for his food and shelter. That takes a lot of man. Mary's cousin Elizabeth was pregnant with John at the same time Mary was carrying Jesus and it was said that Elizabeth's baby leaped in her womb when she came in contact with Mary who had come [pregnant with Jesus] to visit her. |

"And a certain ruler asked (Jesus), saying, Good master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? And Jesus said to him, why do you call me good? No one is good save one, that is God" --Luke 18:18-19 |

There are mentions that Elijah is yet to return once more. Malachi 4:5 "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes." Also when I ran across this reference I thought it was interesting. In the Qur'an when 'God' is speaking it is often if not always with the use of "We". Genesis 3:22 Then the LORD God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil;" Elijah [in an Old Testament account] is the one that went to some [non-hebrew] woman and asked for food. She told him she didn't even have enough for her and her son and he told her that she wouldn't run out if she shared with him. Sure enough, her flour container refilled each day but then her son died [not sure how] and so she complained to him saying "Did you just come here to take my son's life?" And somehow, he prayed and the spirit entered her son's body again bringing him back to life. Here are some different references. Not sure I care to sort it all out.
