I will put some links.. that are great .. for this race that started on the SEPT..10th.. you can follow various ways.. and the maps of the route are great to see the mountains and plains they transverse.. not to mention the rally reports are rather hilarious.. i just wonder why there is a black out of this event in the USA for the most part.. yet this year they have a motorcycle 1922.. from the MIDWEST states.. with generally older gentlemen and a few women teams in the race from various parts of the planet.. i got their brochure and very expensive to enter( 30000 dollars if i remember).. but from the race this year.. lots of mechanical problems.. out of 107 participlants .. on one evening.. 30 came in and 6 were towed.. to ULAAN BAATAR.. the GOBI WAS a real challenge.. the dust.. etc.. http://www.pekingparis.com/gmap/pmap2010.html http://www.pekingparis.com/reports.shtml http://www.endurorally.com/ there are quite a few blog and websites of the participants and their adventures.. some better than others to follow.. go to the basic pekingparis.com site.. ah ho WIO Edited by Wiolawa, Sep 15 2010, 02:57 PM.

ONE of the major reasons i am monitoring this race.. is the lack of the ability of the participants to update their logs.. from china... some said they were forbidden .. total blackout.. from china.. my thoughts are this.. they will take down the internet first in china with the help of google.. so be advised.. this is the major threat.. if they succeed/counter them necessary .. we are next.. ah ho WIO |

does the bike race go through tiananmen square? from the official chinese tourist site http://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/beijing/tianan.htm The present Tiananmen Square has an area of 440,000 square meters and has become a relaxing place for the common people to fly kites and walk. On a holiday, the whole square is covered with fresh flowers. rather covered with fresh flowers than the "common people" freshly shot to pieces so who are the uncommon people...the dragon hybrid lords that gave the word for the massacre to come down? |

if i remember correctly, bill clintoon gave china most favored nation status soon after the massacre didn't nixon give bush one the plum diplomatic assignment to china right after tricky dick did an about face on his hardline stance against the red menace and became the first american president to visit china? it is a big joke to them |
