The colossal ice walls that show another side of the Red Planet

Posted Image

Colossal: This ice formation is a portion of the wall terraces of the Mojave Crater on Mars, it has barely suffered any erosion so offers scientists a tantalizing
Glimpse of what a very large complex crater looks like!

Hi Robin,

Thank you - here's a new pic ... maybe you are able to find something new!

This image shows a vast region of sand dunes at high northern latitudes on Mars. Though it looks as if trees are growing on the red planet, it is an optical illusion. In the winter, according to NASA, a layer of carbon dioxide ice covers the dunes, and in the spring, as the sun warms the ice, it evaporates. This is an active process, and sand dislodged from the crests of the dunes cascades down, forming dark streaks. (NASA/JPL/University of Arizona )

they sure look like trees to me!
they are not black streaks cascading down, these things are standing straight up.
they appear to look almost like they were burned.

the only odd thing i can find is in the middle area, next to a line of trees:
