Lol maybe because it's from funamation, I might buy it I've read what you typed that the story wasn't that good, only to watch it for the special effects, so I'm debating on whether to buy it or not.

I mean, really it's not too far removed from what Casshern was. Just a whole lot prettier. I'd say the story is at least a little more put together than Casshern's, but it's still kind of sloppy. I liked it though...

Just finished Ghost Sweeper Mikami volume 4, which finishes the tv series. It's about a professional exorcist/ghost buster (ghost sweeper), who's hired to deal with ghosts, spirits, demons, etc...with her two side kicks, the teen age lech and the sweet ghost) in tow. It took me about an half dozen episodes to warm up to it. Because it was so episodic it was easy to just watch two episodes at a time, with the exception of the handful of two parters sprinkled through-out the 45 episodes. I considered that it might be just well that it ended before it wore out it's welcome and I'm still hankering to watch the movie (which is basically a two parter). Even so, the anime only covers about a quarter of the manga series (39 volumes). Given it's age, it's probably not going to appeal to a broad audience, but if you've got a taste for supernatural action comedy, it hits the spot nicely.

Other than the usual Naruto Shippuden, I've been mainly watching the new anime lineup on TVB's J2 including shows like "Stitch", "Souten no Ken", "Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas", and "Fairy Tail".

My Amazon order of Eden of East -Paradise Lost and Samurai Girls blus have been shipped. I keep telling myself i grew out of anime, but I got hooked on the intrigue of Eden of The East so I have to finish it, and Samurai Girls got a really good review on bluray.com (great animation, action, and fan service seen worthy of purchase)

Through fansubbing, I watched Ano Hana. Great show filled with heart and fantastic animation. I was really blown away by this one. It deals with a group of kids that deal with a tragedy when one of their own dies in an accident. They drift apart until, in high school, the spirit of the girl shows up, appropriately aged, to the eyes of the former "leader." It basically is about him getting the friends back together to grant the spirit's final wish, in order the have her pass on, while everyone involved has their own baggage and feelings concerning the tragedy. I honestly hope it gets an license soon so I can buy the Blu-rays.
