This was a classic show. One of the first kind of surreal shows that dealt with computers and alternate reality. The price of the Japanese Bluray set is INSANE! $289.99. And the show was 13 episodes, not 26.

I was quite pleased to see how good my regular DVDs look with PS3 upscaling ...so no need to go broke on this

Ya, it'll eventually come stateside. Not paying that much for it ever.

I've actually never seen the show. Always wanted to though. It looks interesting enough. I just never got around to it.

Yoshitoshi Abe's character designs are some of the most unique in the industry. If Haibane Remnie came out on Bluray then I'd actually have to consider it, even at a price like that.

Not sure if there's going to be a US release of it since Geneon had the rights to it but closed their North American distribution. There's always a chance of a license rescue, but what are the odds with how fickle mainstream anime fans are that want only the new, new, new?

Woah... I remember watching this back in the day. You really have to pay attention to this series. Pretty deep and well thought out storyline.
I watched this when the series first aired, I have the fansubs burnt on a disk somewhere.

300 Plus dollars for this series?!?!
Damn!!! How do Otaku survive in Japan?
