In that case they'd probably be a rarer one, usually confined to just battles around plot points involving MLS's direct presence. Kirin would probably be one of the final bosses, while we're pointing out specifics. I think that old Xenosaurs, MLS's especially, would be the main antagonistic ones, while truly random, hallway encounters would be primarily new Xeno & GI. Hallways here would be basically the same as Routes in Pokémon. |

If Kirin's in it, is there any chance Typhon, Siren, Kami or Phoenix could be in it? As minor characters, obviously. I feel like it'd make sense for them to at least appear during the N.X. flashback. I went onto the original Xeno with my alternate account, and I pulled out all of MLS' hideously inaccurate creatures [who he insisted, and probably would still insist, were way better than ours]: Deathwatch Parasite: Killer nematode... things. Xenoraptor: Basically JP raptors with green spots. Diplosrhacos: Pretty much self explanatory. A diplodocus with a Phorusrhacos' head and arms. Tunneler: A giant worm marsupial thing that digs through the ground. Ankylapsis: Giant stegosaurus with cephalapsis head. Ondaro: Giant mantis-millipede. Paxchytheridon Fatalis: The specific name is like that, because this is MLS. Basically a pachyderm with three tusks. This actually came from Flish's shop, originally, so it might not be inherently evil. Neptune: Giant armored dragon. Nothing else to say, really. Tyrannolon: Tyrannosaurus with Archelon.... literally a green Tyrannosaurus with an Archelon shell. Nothing else to say. Velocilestes: Hideous vulture-raptor with pronated hands and no primaries. Kirin: The evil brother of Siren, Typhon and Kami. He was replaced by Phoenix as the fire guardian whatever, so I guess he probably holds some whatever vengeance sturf. Drini: Fish people. Nothing else much to say... other than they don't wear clothes... Slicer: He had these back on GI. But apparently they're sapient now...? I personally imagine these would be MLS' dim witted minions, while the GI and NX creatures would just have been released into Cratalis, and being confused and such, would begin attacking people, but would not be inherently affiliated with "Mettan Starling". |

Oh Kirin got replaced? Awesome. I feel that the other 4 could rather nicely be incorporated as a set of key items. JRPG's often have sets of 4 such items that are usually keys in to certain rooms, all in one specific area; usually they're either playing suits (Spades, Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts) or the 4 directional god/beast/things (Blue Dragon, Red Sparrow, White Tiger, Black Tortoise, with a 5th Yellow Dragon on occasion) Any chance you could copy/paste the entire bios somewhere? I hate to say that I ever want to use MLS's creatures as a reference point, but... Oh yes, Ondaro. Was also made on GI; I believe we still have a card of it here. Of course, in addition to that there's also Wolfworm/Wolfwretch, King Cobroth, & whatever that beetle thing was called, although they're being redeemed through GI members repurchasing them.Oh, & wasn't there some 'Xeno Rex' or something like that which he posted on Spore & said he was going to write Project: KRONOS rip off of? |

I'll PM them to you, cause they're gonna stretch the page if I post them here. Yeah, XenoRex. Essentially the same as Kronos. I gotta say, at least the Four Brothers were somewhat of a creative ripoff of Kronos... but XenoRex... he even looked pretty much the same, only yellow, IIRC. EDIT: Ok, cool. Although it might be a bit premature to be thinking up details like this, I at least wanted to put forward a possible plotline segment; the group travels to NX to get whatever-they-need-to-get; the island is no longer populated, seeing as nobody ever goes to NX anymore, so they forced to collect the items of Phoenix, Kami, Typhon and Siren, and use them to initiate the flashback or whatever and get the... thing. Definitely not a concrete thing that has to happen, it's just a possibility that I wanted to put forward. I just wanted to get it out in the general... air. |

To be fair, I had my own Kronos rip-off back in the day, but at least he/she/it used electricity. Xeno Rex could probably be factored in to the end game boss fights too. Oh, & where is Phoenix? I just looked back at new XC & found nothing regarding it; nothing since March, in fact, which saddens me. We should go back & do stuff there. |

I'm not sure if you could find Phoenix anywhere. You'd probably have to personally ask Flish for his art and info; he showed me it back on Gaia, a ZT2 website, and I haven't seen it since. Also, it'd be epic if we could do some sturf back on NX. Flish's whole system of DNA and sturf was interesting, I wish we could've used it more. Speaking of that, is there any possibility some NX cards are in order? We only got Cavascutum, currently. I imagine Squidiguana and sturf being decent cards... maybe the Brothers could even appear, possibly being deity-like? Obviously, slightly weaker, but... IDK. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself. XP Also, I edited my last post, not noticing you posted, with this:
Anyway, I'm sending you some of MLS' sturf at this very moment. |

Well DF mentioned wanting to do the 'Brothers', but I showed high disdain for the idea & to my knowledge he ultimately dropped it. I really don't like them. I don't have any other current plans for XC cards, but Babyloniasaurus, a GI creature I used to have, I would like to make on XC & then make into a card. Flashbacks tend not to be time travel, but remembering the past. I think that after the initial bit on GI the party would stay on Cratalis for the remainder of the game, unless maybe they went to the old XC (I almost typed 'original'... ha!) for the final dungeon. |

It wasn't so much as time travel, per se, as helping remember the past in a lucid fashion. But it's just an idea I had. I know nothing of JRPGs, personally. I would kinda like to see them, regardless, mostly for nostalgia reasons, if nothing else. But, yeah. I agree. The majority should be spent on Cratalis. |

Looks good! So, if the halls work as the routes, what would the routes lead to? |

Important areas. The shops, living quarters, the bridge, the arena, etc. Maybe we should compile a sort of card list. Every single card would simply be too much. FF7 didn't really have a lot of Materia; 17 Summon, 22 Magic, 14 Command, 13 Support, & 17 Independent, for a total of 83, one of which only had a single use & didn't even level up at all, so it was functionally 82. We could definitely do more than that; but not every one of the 800+ cards on the site. |

Alright, sounds good. I'm sure our room will be interesting DX. As for cards list, we've mentioned Amphi, The Energy Sauropods, and the Big Four from Xeno. |

I'd like to have Hypsilophodon, just so I can have an equivalent to Hyppie in this. In terms of appearance, I also really like Euphoberia, Gasosaurus and Anomalocaris, so they'd be kinda cool, but probably not at the top of the list, in terms of importance. There's one card I know we need, though: Missingno. The game wouldn't be complete without a Normal/Bird tyupe. |

The Big Four were key items, not cards. Also, Ultimasaurus. So, with those we have... Five total, all of which being Summon-style (ie. one, maybe 2 powerful attacks that it uses when summoned, can only be summoned a limited number of times per battle). Any others that would make good Summon candidates? For reference, here's a video of every summon Materia. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygvs06lqFBM Quality isn't very good, but it's the only one I can find that doesn't either cut off Knights of the Round (Ultimate End) or leave out Odin's Gungnir. Oh, & I just figured out what my weapon would be. I'd use the swords from Spectrum. |
