Alright, alright, I know the last thing any of you want to hear is one of Alt’s ‘We Should Change This Because I Think We Should *Derp*’ Speeches, but I felt that maybe it may be of benefit if I posted this. Anyways, I’ve noticed a lot of Economic Tensions here on the Cratalis. I don’t like watching my closest friends biker and argue amongst one another, and I don’t like the feelings that some people have expressed to me. So, I wanted to address this problem myself, as it seems that everybody else has no ideas or is too busy at the moment. There’s nothing wrong with that, but I don’t want this tension to keep looming in our highly flammable air. So, I have some suggestions. Or, rather, a suggestion. The most recent arguments that I’ve seen (Other than the Pawn Shop), revolve around the Booster Pack shop. DinoFlame wants to be the only person to sell the cards he has endeavored to make. Clockwork is too busy with lots of other things to attend the matter immediately, and this is one of the sources of the tension. So, I decided to come up with something short, sweet, and simple. Firstly, there’s the issue that both IsaacNewton101 and myself, Altaria, have obtained packs from Clocky’s Booster Shop that contained DinoFlame cards. Though neither of us quite want to give up our incredible cards, I think it would be good to do so, as it would appease DF and not do anything to lower the business of selling packs. So, I’ve determined this: IN101, instead of having Paraceratherium, Carcharodontosaurus, and Shunnosaurus, he’d return them to DinoFlame and in exchange get Giraffa Jumae, Therizinosaurus, and Ampelosaurus respectively. For me, instead of my two Diplodocus, Carcharodontosaurus, and Shunnosaurus, I’d get 2 Supersaurus (or two Apatosaurus?), a Therizinosaurus, and an Ampelosaurus, respectively. I’m not sure if IN would agree to this, but I am perfectly fine doing this. As for the Gigas Pack in general, I’ve been thinking, and now I’m wondering if this will work: The following is the original list and the replacements next to it:
Acrocanthosaurus (16 in 180 chance)
Amargasaurus (12 in 180 chance)
Amphicoelias fragillimus (.5 in 180 chance)
Ankylosaurus (8 in 180 chance)
Apatosaurus (12 in 180 chance)
Brachiosaurus (7 in 180 chance)REPLACEMENT: ARGYROSAURUS
Carcharadontosaurus (13 in 180 chance)REPLACEMENT: THERIZINOSAURUS
Diplodocus (5 in 180 chance)REPLACEMENT: SUPERSAURUS
Giganotosaurus (8 in 180 chance)REPLACEMENT: DEINOCHEIRUS
Imperial Mammoth (9 in 180 chance)
Liopleuradon (7 in 180 chance)
Mosasaurus (14 in 180 chance)REPLACEMENT: LEEDSICHTHYS
Paraceratherium (15 in 180 chance)REPLACEMENT: GIRAFFA JUMAE
Sauroposeidon (12 in 180 chance)
Shunosaurus (ST) (16 in 180 chance)REPLACEMENT: AMPELOSAURUS
Shunosaurus (DF) (12 in 180 chance)REPLACEMENT: GIGANTSPINOSAURUS
Siachania (8 in 180 chance)REPLACEMENT: PANOPLOSAURUS
Spinosaurus (8 in 180 chance)
Kronos (LIMITED TIME OFFER. ONLY 1 AVAILABLE!) (.2 in 180 chance)
Minotaur (5 in 180 chance)
Graboid (1 in 180 chance)
Dodo (.3 in 180 chance)
Now the Gigas Pack once sold for about 300 ST. Despite me loving that price, it is ridiculously low. So, I suggest that instead, it be sold for 800 ST like most other packs that contain creatures that big. 800 ST is still fairly cheap for the monsters you can get from it, but it is more reasonable to both the buyer and hopefully the seller. If you notice, no DinoFlame creatures are in this. This would speed up the production and sales of the packs without defiling DF’s request. Now, if he wishes to incorporate himself into the packs, he may speak up to CW, creator of the packs, but for now this should be a simple solution to the immediate issue, and Clocky can continue making his money while respecting DF’s wish. So, I would like to know what you guys think of this. Also, forgive me, Admins and Moderators, for always butting into things that are for the higher powers and not me to address.

Gah! Wall of text! I agree, except I'd prefer to keep my Carchardontosaurus (known as Cher) for reasons that you already know, Altaria would like to keep it as well (provided DF is okay with it). But, yeah, great idea. Let us rue the day someone gets Kronos.

Considering my luck with Sigma's (<-referring to Sauroposeidon) I really want to try for this pack...I can see my list now: Kronos, Amphycoelias, Apatosaurus. Never mind, I don't want to jinx it.

Well, I really wouldn't say the situation is at all as big as you're making it out to be in terms of tension, but anyway...

I can't say I overly care much what Clocky does to go about recalling the incorrectly sold cards, but my concern is that they be dealt with before/so they aren't used in and circulated via battle as that would only serve to worsen the problem.

As for the Carcharodontosaurus's... I'm not really sure about that. I would think the best route would be to go with whatever Clocky decides to do for a recall, and then I was actually planing to have Carcharodontosaurus available in my shop the next time I update it.

Well, lets say I, by some miracle, win my fight against Alt. Do I just miss out on the two Diplodocus? Or do I get a replacement card? My point is, it's happened. I'm not entirely sure why you have a problem with them selling your cards, but, they're the admins. Tuey get Prehistoric cards by right. And from there, its basically a trade. If we're to offer Alt a Gerranous for a Dunkleosteus, and he accepted, It would be exactly the same as me offering CW a a Gerranous for a Dunkleosteus. He owns a copy of the card, so it is his to give away. Sorry if this doesn't make sense.

Err, sorry if I'm 'making a big deal out of it' I just don't like arguments, you should very well know this by now. And like I've said before, sorry for butting into conversations that are not mine. My apologiese if I have irked you with this, I just do feel it is a bit tense, because of certain people I've been talking to. Sorry for causing problems.

My first problem is, basically, that I feel cheated in that I make the card and then Clocky sells it, for which I get nothing in return except losing the ability to make that sale myself. I understand that I do get unlimited copies for making the card, but... it still feels like I've been thrown the short end of the stick.

My second problem is that Clocky and I had already been through this and came to an agreement. Clocky assumed that agreement didn't apply to his booster shop, and under that assumption sold the cards when, according to the agreement, he shouldn't have. No different than has happened the few times in his pawn shop that he sold something, forgetting it was one of my cards until I pointed it out, I would expect the sale to be reversed.

As for your battle in particular, I understand that it has happened. My point, however, is that it shouldn't have happened in the first place. No different than, for example, if a card is koed in a battle, and then a turn later it is realized there was an error in the stats and it actually wasn't koed. The battle doesn't just keep going and the card remains koed, instead, the error is fixed and thing are picked back up from that point.

I completely understand your argument, that's why I've been wanting to fix the booster shop thing and making arangements for all of your cards to be returned and exchanged for cards that are pretty much the same except that from different makers. Also, if you'd like, in my battle we could just go with the Sauroposeidon edit that I had made...
