Hilarious In Hindsight/Fridge Logic/Horror: Initially, when Donte' & Blessing of Thanatos were posted, there was some controversy & confusion over the Dodo card evolving when I<3Dodos infused it with the power of death itself. Almost five months later, Dodo's older sister arrived- as a sentient undead with no memory of her revival. Joke Character: Dodo started off as this, before first getting Magikarp Power with its evolutions, & later being updated, turning it into a Lethal Joke Character. |

All Myths are True: As seen in the Myth section. Captain Obvious: That would be me, (duh!) Unless I am mistaken, Brains is anUndead Youth. |

Disputable. She's young, yes, but that's a wide term. She's in the high teens, at least as I've always thought of her. The 17 range. |

Very true, but I couldn't find one for those whom became undead as adolescents/young adults. 2 more diputable ones: Fantasy Kitchen Sink: So, A Zombie is commanding T-Rex to attack a Minotaur who recently switched in to replace a Great Blue Windrunner from a speculative future. Keep in mind this is happening on a space ship made by a wizard. Also, could it ba that Card Battling is In the Blood? Based off of
Card Battles Boot Camp Introduction Video. I think this also may have been what made me think for a while that CB had been around for millenia. |

Fantasy Kitchen Sink is a bit of a case of a Zig-Zagging Trope, as we do have things from all sorts of origins in the game itself, but that's, depending on your interpretation of it, either all of those things being real and harnessed into cards (ala the Yugioh anime), which would be playing it straight, or just a simple card game, which would be subverting it, or at least delegating it to a Show Within a Show. However, we also have Sigma's entire universe, DF's Doctor tech, and various OCs that cause it to be played straight regardless, including, but not limited to, Pokemon trainers, Pokemon, Pokemon that are Pokemon trainers, large mutant kakapos, Magistream creatures, Teslow, Mecha-Toraton, & whatever you want to describe Suparoo as. The quoted passage, I think, was a parody of the Camp Half-Blood Introduction video, which, if I recall correctly, was made by KP for his Percy Jackson fanfic. |

Actually, I'm pretty sure the quoted passage was just an idea that popped into DF's head. Look in the Stegospinus topic.

I know where it was from, but the whole "Camp Card Battles" spiel sounded familiar and I remembered the orientation video & figured that was probably it. |

Hilarious in Hindsight: Tsintaosaurus. And how! The card had an ability which equalized the HP of creatures in play. A joke was made about Amon (by yours truly). Then, when DF began his Fossil Fighters LP, I wanted him to use Tsintao, and jokingly wanted him to name it Amon. That went through, and it was made especially funnier when DF (and I as a result) found out that it had Power Scale (a move that equalizes FP) |

It's been a while since we've added tropes. Anyways, I had some time, so here is! Big Brother Mentor: Well, in this topic: Clocky said , that I was kinda like a mentor to Apat. Sort of. Knight Templar Big Brother: I ussually get feelings similar to these, especially when A-pat battles XD. Sibling Team: Apat and I have teamed up before. Not often, but it's not unheard of. Youngest Child Wins: I had to pull of a very low blow on Apat when I battled him the latest time. Without that low blow he'd have beat me by 5 cards if I recall correctly. Sibling Telepathy: No joke, I'm pretty sure A-pat and I have this. He just seems to post so many things that I think about posting but never have time to... Aloof Big Brother/Annoying Younger Sibling: Whenever Apat and I are messing with eachother. I'll get more tropes up later, and this time not all about me and apat! lol. |

Thanks bro, anytime. ![]() And as promised, more tropes: Floating Continent: Ok, I know this doesn't really fit, but in a way the Cratalis can be considered this. It's as big as Singapore, which isn't particularly small... Eldricht Starship: There's no telling how long the hallways are or where they end... Lol, jk, but still, Those Corridors...Ptero-Soarer: We have pterosaurs. And they can do barrel rolls! Anyways, just for the pterosaurs. |
