OOC: Okay, I'm gonna be using Krill for this battle. I haven't RP'd in years, so methinks this would be a nice warm up battle. Anyone can accept, although it is one on one. ![]() _______________________________________________________________________________ The empty park at the foot of the mountain was painted orange by the sun set. All the picnickers and tourists were packing up and leaving for today, no doubt they would be returning tomorrow for another day out by the lake, fishing and playing with their remote controlled boats. Closer to the mountain, in another algae-topped lake, there was a loud splash as Krill leaped out from his little home. He was hungry and feeling rather adventurous, so he made his way to the other lake in the park, hoping to catch himself some duck. During his time here on Earth, he had taken a liking to the taste of poultry. He ambled through the overgrowth, enjoying the warmth on his tropical coloured skin and humming some tune he had heard someone whistling that day. This was his favourite time of day, as it was still very warm out, and he had the whole park to himself. It was a huge park, covering two square miles. It consisted of the large mountain, which dominated the coast of the island, an old rock quarry and a number of lakes and small wooded areas. There was also a museum and a large brickworks building. The quarry became a brickworks after the breakwater was built in 1875 but by the 1900s that also came to a stop. Krill loved this place for its history and this island was full of interesting characters, not to mention the fact that it is right on the coast, which has always been Krill’s favourite place. However, he sensed that his peaceful evening was about to be disturbed. He heard something coming into the park. Feeling slightly annoyed, but curious at the same time, Krill went to investigate. |

I'm going to use Kerran for this battle, but in order to make a good post I need some more information from you. How big is this island? Is it a small island with a small settlement? Or a large island country, or like an island large enough to have more than one country (like the UK)? |

Dude, sorry for the delay. Had aloada stuff to deal with, and my son has been a bit of a handful these past weeks. Umm, your best bet really is to go on google maps and type in "Holyhead, Anglesey". Anglesey is another island, on which Holyhead has been joined. Holyhead is a big island; somewhere between 10 and 15 miles down the length of it, and about 5 miles wide, give or take. It has a town, which right now is just run-down. Half the shops are closed down and it's just dull. In the middle of the town is a bridge leading to the train station and ferry terminal, called The Celtic Gateway. (A waste of £3,000,000 if you ask me, and the first thing people coming off the bridge into town see is some crappy bargain shop run by this guy called Ash Ghani.)But, the area where Krill is, is at the foot of the mountain, at this place called The Breakwater Park. It's a really nice place, with two massive ponds. (The one right at the very foot of the mountain is fenced off because it's extremely deep and dangerous. At the bottom is a tunnel leading under the mountain, where Krill lives. ) If you look on Google Maps, it's around the area labelled Mountain and Llaingoch. The mountain is fairly big (Nothing like the Alps or Everest, obviously, but you'll see if you look at the satellite images.) At each end, there's two lighthouses. These are the North and South Stacks. We're closer to North Stack, on the East side of Llaingoch. That's where The Breakwater Park is. It's not labelled on Google Maps, but if you copy and paste this "Porth Namarch, Mountain, Holyhead, Gwynedd LL65 1YG", then it'll take you straight there.Just look at the map in satellite mode, and look at whatever images they have there. It'll give you a better feel for the area and see what the land is like. It's pretty much mostly green. ![]() OR..! I'm willing to allow you to choose a new setting for a fight, in any time setting between now and future. I'm working on a new character who's gonna be more suited to future settings. Either way is fine for me.

OOC: Okay, well, the problem is that in Kerran's universe, I haven't given a shred of thought to how Earth turns out. Maybe we can be on some other planet of your choosing that has a very similar place. I'll even use this planet later on. If you want. |

Well... Does it even matter where it's set? Basically the setting I described is in some country park with two large ponds, and it's at the base of a large mountain. Is there really any need to go into so much detail so long as you know what the terrain is? Seriously man, let's just get this started. I'm wanting to kick some ass.
