I know people haven't mentioned him, but I really wanted Jerry Brown (Governor of California) to be the VP, I like him a lot. Hopefully he'll get some federal position. In terms of the VP, while a Warren pick would be historic and interesting, I think Clinton will likely end up picking Kaine, just because he's a solid, noncontroversial choice, with a lot of experience that can help cater to the undecided voter. Warren would be too polarizing. Sen. Brown could be picked for similar reasons, but she won't risk letting Republican Governor of Ohio John Kasich pick his Senate successor, Senate seats are too valuable. And Castro is way too inexperienced, and risky in his own way.

It's going to be Kaine I think. Just because he is a safe, dull and loyal pick. He could in many ways just take Virginia off the map which would make things easier for Democrats. I would rather she picked Warren as she would add that excitement to the campaign and she's been shown to be good at attacking Trump. She would also be good in the Veep debate I think. But yeah I think it's going to be Kaine.

It will probably be Kaine. Apparently the final three are Kaine, Vilsack, and Perez. Kaine is just a slightly better Vilsack, so I think that's obvious. Perez, I think, is so totally untested as a candidate that it's hard to know how he'd perform. I don't know that the risk-averse Hillary Clinton will want to take that chance.
I think maybe her best choice would be Cory Booker, but if she were to pick him, his replacement would be appointed by Chris Christie, so I don't think she'll do that. Warren may also be a really good choice, but I think Clinton wants to avoid scaring people off. Trump is so divisive, she has a unique opportunity to play to the center-left right now. Picking Warren might screw that up.
But VP picks never actually help a candidate, they can only hurt. Choosing someone with little experience, like Castro, would be a huge mistake. Clinton knows she should stay safe, and I think that's the right call. Certainly looks like we're headed for Clinton/Kaine.
Besides, if we're being honest with ourselves, doesn't Kaine just kind of seem like a VP? I don't know what it is, but he has that VP look.

If Clinton picks Kaine and she wins, I'm about 98% certain that McAuliffe will appoint himself to the Senate.

I think it might be Crist as it is being announced in Florida but that's just a guess because I know little about American politicians. Although I think it could be Bernie, so she gets the support of more of the youth of America. America needs Bernie!

No it won't be Bernie. He is too far on the left for starters and he and Clinton hate each other now. There is no point in denning that fact because we all know it's true.

If Clinton picks Kaine and she wins, I'm about 98% certain that McAuliffe will appoint himself to the Senate. Since VA governors are limited to 1 term, I'm pretty sure their primary task is job searching. It's in their constitution, I believe.

That'd rankle Sanders supporters more than Kaine would.

If I were her, I'd pick Perez.
I'd say its even odds on Kaine or Vilsack — with a small edge toward Vilsack. I think as an Iowan he could really fight back Trump's momentum with white midwest America.

"Tell me, is there anything worn under the kilt?" "No, lassie, it's all in good working order!"
Motivations Desiderata ~ By Max Ehrmann Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love, for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy. - By Max Ehrmann The Thousanth Man ~ Rudyard Kipling 0NE man in a thousand, Solomon says. Will stick more close than a brother. And it's worth while seeking him half your days If you find him before the other. Nine hundred and ninety-nine depend On what the world sees in you, But the Thousandth Man will stand your friend With the whole round world agin you.
'Tis neither promise nor prayer nor show Will settle the finding for 'ee. Nine hundred and ninety-nine of 'em go By your looks, or your acts, or your glory.
But if he finds you and you find him, The rest of the world don't matter; For the Thousandth Man will sink or swim With you in any water.
You can use his purse with no more talk Than he uses yours for his spendings, And laugh and meet in your daily walk As though there had been no lendings.
Nine hundred and ninety-nine of 'em call For silver and gold in their dealings; But the Thousandth Man he's worth 'em all Because you can show him your feelings.
His wrong's your wrong, and his right's your right, In season or out of season. Stand up and back it in all men's sight With that for your only reason!
Nine hundred and ninety-nine can't bide The shame or mocking or laughter, But the Thousandth Man will stand by your side To the gallows-foot - and after!

He endorsed her and they even combined parts of their platform together. Now I know people are talking about picking a Hispanic VP in order to grab the vote but if you wanted to not aim for more demographics but make sure the party is truly united, you could pick Sanders as a VP but it would be hard to know if people would hate him or not (they could call him a sellout and coward). We do know he score very well with Independents that could decide this election.
