Welcome to Europeia!
So what the heck is Europeia anyways?

Can I join?

So, I came here representing another region? I do not want to become a citizen. Where should I go?

What offices are there for people to be elected into?

What is there for me to do in Europeia?

That answers most of my immediate questions. What if I have any more?

Rach: I'd like to welcome you to The Globe or as we're known in parts of the world, The Runes.

writinglegend: Intriguing. Thanks for the welcome *peaks around a bit* I've been keeping up with The Globe, and I would like to congratulate you on the "success" it seems to have around it

Rach: Thank you. So firstly, I'd like to ask how you feel you've done thus far this term?

writinglegend: I feel like, as Minister of Culture, I've done a decent job. I'm not going to say I've been "amazing" or I've been "perfect" because that would be a little too much. I haven't been perfect. I've been good. Although I've heard that I've been better that 'good' I can only leave the success of my term up to the judgement of Euro and it's citizens, rather than the judgement of myself. If the people think I've done really good then I've done really good. If people think I've done really bad then I did really bad. I don't like to judge myself on the term and dawn on how bad or good I was, rather, look forward to the future and continue to be better than ever.

Rach: A very self-improving outlook. What are you looking forward to and how do you hope to be even better than you are currently?

writinglegend: I feel that currently we are doing a good all-around job, but if I could improve on one thing it would be improving on non-forum Euros to participate in more events like CAH and Mafia. I feel like we are currently developing a great set of RMB games that could soon attract these people to our forums. Whilst we have brought in some people to the forums through games such as Mafia and Cards Against Humanity, this number can always be improved, and that's by getting the people not on the forums involved which we are currently working on through RMB activities and keeping up the current games and stretching those out to them.

If I was to look forward to something I would say the Awards Show coming up soon. We in Culture and Comm have been working very hard on this and it'll be very exciting to watch it all come together, and see the citizens of Euro enjoy this event as much as we've enjoyed planning it (and soon holding it).

Rach: That sounds fantastic, so in terms of games like Cards Against Humanity... those are the sorts of games you wish to get people who primarily participate on the RMB to get involved with? Or are we talking about a different sort of game?

writinglegend: We are mixing it up. We will continue with the CAH games and Mafia but will throw in a little diversity. Diversity is always good, it makes sure boredom doesn't settle in. We primarily want to be diverse, make people want to see what is coming up next from us. And these sorts of "activities" we have for the RMB should get people very involved there.

Rach:That sounds like a very good plan. Let's talk about your senate run. What has inspired you to want to be a Senator?

writinglegend : The legislation. The interaction. I feel the knowledge I can gain in the Senate and use for my never-ending stay in Euro can be valuable for the time I am here. Whilst you should know most things coming in as a Senator, you can certainly improve on some aspects that you learn as a Senator and understand just what the job entails. I feel being a Senator is a great way to interact with the community, and help the community of Euro by means of legislation. And the knowledge and lessons you will learn from being in the Senate will last you a lifetime, and can be valuable.

And when I say "most things" as a Senator, I mean some of the legislative aspect of Euro such as formatting amendments, writing effective amendments, and debating amendments, etc. You will never know everything coming in as a Senator for the first time. :)

So the knowledge, and the lessons I can learn from being a Senator really attracted me to the position and inspired me to run :)

Rach: You state in your manifesto that you will take a more active approach to committees. What exactly do you mean by this?

writinglegend: I state that because I want more questions asked, particularly the people's questions, hence where my plan for a place to get people to ask questions on the committee, whether that be in the Grand Hall where people start discussions, or in the Discussion Forum on Senate Matters. I will look to have questions, to participate in the committees actively, and to get the People's questions answered. If we want the committees to succeed I feel we need to bring their activity up, and that comes in with dedicated Senators getting the People's questions more into the committees. And Senators being active within the committees.

Rach: It seems like a good idea. Considering that you're still a fairly new member to Europeia, how would you explain your success recently in the region?

writinglegend :I feel i can contribute it to my hardwork, dedication, and activity. If you work hard and show that you have the dedication to succeed, anything is possible. It's just one of those cases where "Hardwork pays off," and Euro is definitly a great region where you are rewarded for working hard, and that is what makes this region so special.

Rach: Before we end off, do you see yourself sitting in the Oval office any time soon?

writinglegend: Anything is possible :) I have a lot to learn before I get to that stage where I am ready for a shot at the Oval Office, and I have a lot of areas to improve before I can fully say I am ready for the Presidency. But once I do improve and become well-rounded, the Presidency will surely be there still. And if the time is right you may see it happen.

writinglegend: Thank you for the interview! I really enjoyed this! :)

Rach: I really enjoyed having you :)

You must be imaginative and strong-hearted. You must try things that may not work.
You must not let others define your limits, because your only limits are your soul.
