Welcome to Europeia!
So what the heck is Europeia anyways?

Can I join?

So, I came here representing another region? I do not want to become a citizen. Where should I go?

What offices are there for people to be elected into?

What is there for me to do in Europeia?

That answers most of my immediate questions. What if I have any more?

It's interesting that some of Zenny's arguments mirror those of CSP in his late 2012 Senate campaign though.
No, they don't. Not one bit. I was suggesting a larger infrastructure that was less beholden to one person, not to arbitrarily replace the most qualified person for the job because...new people and...we all want trophies.

The People! Accountability! Equality! Freedom! Honesty! New! Change! Hope! Blowjobs!

All these words have a positive connotation therefore you must do what I want! I wish we had a intellectually handicapped emoticon.
You're very rude to people, you know that?

Little of that "suggestion" comes through in my reading of it, although admittedly I wasn't around then, so it's possible I'm just missing out on a larger conversation that may have been taking place at the time.

You did use the word "accountability" though, Mr. Buzzy Buzzwording..ton...berg.

This is not CSP's "very rude" level, this is pleasant conversation. The region would be boring without his candor, and many of us would have thinner skins than NS Gameplay requires.

Speaking from my own experience, this isn't a region in which people tip-toe around strongly criticizing words and actions with which they disagree, and that's something many of us like about Europeia. Even if it was something we weren't used to at first and it may have stung a bit when we took our own verbal beatings. :P

Remember when I was famous? Neither do I.

I've always liked that we aren't afraid to call people out on their perceived bullshit.

It's really easy to talk down to other people and make them feel inferior, only to tell them when they get mad to "Get thicker skin".

This very much so. To argue for "candor" is little more than condoning rudeness as well the emotional laziness and bankruptcy of others. If you don't have the skill or intelligence to approach things in such a way that the community benefits, then you have to think hard about your role in wider commentary. Similarly, if you cannot think of a way have the appearance of humility, agreeableness and still "call others out", then you have quite a lot of learning to do.

It's even easier to waltz into somewhere and regurgitate bad ideas and instead of learning from opposition to them, stick to your uninformed, unqualified guns and call anyone who doesn't agree with you a big, mean oligarch.

Says you. The only direction you have ever talked is down.
