| Welcome to Europeia! So what the heck is Europeia anyways? Can I join? So, I came here representing another region? I do not want to become a citizen. Where should I go? What offices are there for people to be elected into? What is there for me to do in Europeia? That answers most of my immediate questions. What if I have any more? |

Here are the Globes picks for people who could deserve to be in Europeia's Hall of Fame but aren't in it currently. PhDre A shorter political career than many in Hall of Fame, PhDre was a fairly decent to strong President who also spent a large portion of his time in Europeia writing for his own paper. To me, the question is..., is writing great quality news articles a HoF deserving attribute? Because if anyone is worthy of the HoF because of their contributions in journalism it is PhDre. Mousebumples Mouse may not have had the longest executive career but her contributions in the Citizens Assembly & in particular the World Assembly are worthy of recognition. Without Mouse, I'm not sure we'd be anywhere near to the great heights Europeia has achieved in the World Assembly. R3n While R3n has not held many positions in Europeia, his impact has been huge on the administration side. When admin tasks are done quickly when your team includes, HEM, Lethen & NES... then truly you have performed miracles. Furthermore, R3n has contributed a ton in making the Europeian forums the greatest (in my opinion) from a technological perspective. Whether it's changing the skin or putting in fantastic new codes, R3n has had a massive impact. North East Somerset The second former President on this list, North East Somerset has improved Europeia greatly. He has pushed great advancements on Foreign Affairs as well as internal affairs. It was under his Presidency that we started utilizing scripts and NES has always sought to keep Europeia on the forefront when it comes to the innovative curve. Hyanygo Yes, he isn't the most popular member of Europeia. Yet Hyanygo has been an extremely influential member when it comes to law writing and the legislative. Where would we be today without his sage advice and contributions to law? I think my common theme for this, with the exception of NES has been the great leaders of fields other than the executive. Very narrow fields for some. PhDre, journalism. Mouse: WA. R3n, coding. Hyanygo: legislative. Thats not to say that they haven't contributed elsewhere but it is their achievements in those fields which warrant consideration for the Hall of Fame. Edited by Rach, Jun 10 2014, 02:57 PM.

Ugh, crap. I even called you a fairly decent to strong President (I think strong). If only my mind wasn't so dumb sometimes

Surprised R3n isn't in the Hall (hey, when was the last time the Selection Committee inducted someone?), but I've gone to bat for Hyanygo many times during other inductions. Always getting shot down. |

I didn't realize I was in the Hall of Fame until this thread prompted me to go check who has been inducted. The HOF Committee has enough work to do catching up on inductions for Ovation recipients. Once that's done, I think the Committee should focus on old timers -- people whose contributions were made so long ago that they would be unknown to the President and Senate. I think the Ovation process works well enough for citizens whose contributions were more recent. I think R3n is the citizen most deserving of an Ovation who has not already received one. |

I think R3n is worthy of an ovation, and I think North East Somerset is a possible candidate as well (would have been definite if his term as President was better, because the rest of his contributions have been spot on). |

Full disclosure: that was going to be in my end of term speech; had I not gotten sick, we'd probably be planning his ceremony right now

r3n is a no brainer for an ovation. NES has to be on your short list. Nobody is more responsible for the formulation of Europeian foreign policy thinking over the years. |

Rach was too modest to include her name in the list, but I believe it should be there. She has contributed to a range of ministries, including being our most dedicated recruiter for a long period of time. She had a very successful (second) term as President, during which we saw a transformation of our FA. Our modern foreign policy basically started during Rach's term. |

There are people I would induct before Rachel, but it may be that my memories of her first term are too....vivid Also, she's mean to me sometimes, and....I just can't look past that...
