Welcome to Europeia!
So what the heck is Europeia anyways?

Can I join?

So, I came here representing another region? I do not want to become a citizen. Where should I go?

What offices are there for people to be elected into?

What is there for me to do in Europeia?

That answers most of my immediate questions. What if I have any more?

Mal'achi failed to recognize Rach's satirical intent. Naturally, this is grounds for a pile-on.

It would be nice , however, if we could conduct said pile-on without reference to his religious beliefs, as they have no bearing on the issue at hand.

I recognised from the off it was an attempt at satire. I just don't think it worked very well; and was in poor taste. :P Obviously the people disagree. That's as far as I would've went with it; but you know what people here are like. Any chance to go all drama queen bitchy bitchy bitch and they are like a pack of wild hyenas. So kudos to them, well done all.

This is the bitchiest comment in the whole thread, right here. Much passive-aggressive. Very hypocrite. Wow.

If people are writing satire about someone doing a bad job, that probably means they're doing a good job.

Satire takes as its subject an inversion of a commonly held opinion to highlight how absurd that inversion would be. At the same time, it treats the inversion with a totally faux straight face and seriousness that further highlights the absurdity of the whole situation. This is called double-coded language, or more popularly, irony. If you can't grasp that, or if you misinterpret it, the fault lies with you. If this is bullying, then just about every Europeian probably has PTSD because we've all been satirized in the media at one point or another.
...excuse me, I have to write a Marble Tribune article entitled, "Modern Sin: Greatest Senator of a Generation, Hero of Our Age" :P

Remember when I was famous? Neither do I.

Well that was something weird to read. Am I the only one who read this from the start and actually recognized Malachi's stance and didn't think he was the one being a drama queen and blowing things out of proportion?

You're not the only one Lethen. Knowing how Mal knows Rachel I know exactly what he's thinking that Rachel is thinking.
