| Welcome to Europeia! So what the heck is Europeia anyways? Can I join? So, I came here representing another region? I do not want to become a citizen. Where should I go? What offices are there for people to be elected into? What is there for me to do in Europeia? That answers most of my immediate questions. What if I have any more? |

15 Minutes With The President![]() President Rachel Quickly Caught In Passing I'm here today with President Rachel who'll be discussing the race for the Senate seat, criticisms against her management of the EuroNavy and who she'll be backing. So, President. What's your opinion on the number of Ministers who are fighting over a Seat in the Senate? I believe it really shows the depth of talent in Europeia right now. When I first got active here, I'd say that over half of the Senators were also Ministers. So, to have that many people who are able to contest a seat is really awesome. On a case by case basis; JGlenn and Ogastein have both served in the senate before and have done very well. So, I think that if they were to be elected that they could easily excel in both roles. Switzlanzia too, although I don't believe I've seen him legislate before. Do you think this battle over a seat could cause friction and undermine your Cabinet? I don't think this battle over a seat will cause friction and undermine the Cabinet. They are all very professional and have conducted themselves as such. The competition has been them campaigning to show why -they- can offer the most rather than a fight between candidates. They all respect each other and there has been no hostility. Very well said President, it does seem to have been a gentle contest between candidates. Although we have seen some testing questions from other sources. |

One of your Ministers, Switzlanzia, has criticised your Administration's handling of the EuroNavy and your choice to select Karth as the last Grand Admiral. Is there anything you'd like to say in reply to these claims of mismanagement? The Navy has been the most active since Griff was Grand Admiral and that alone says quite a bit. If you look at the most successful Grand Admirals: Griff, Oliver and Swakistek... none of them are involved in the process much any more. Then you look at the admirably, Asperta, Anumia and r3n are also no longer active troops. CSP also hadn't been active for a while. So, it's been a rebuilding process. It will take time for newer members to gain the experience needed to lead. Guys like Switzlanzia are really hungry and active, but at the same time are still very much on the learning curve. So, when you look at Grand Admiral options the choice was to either look abroad as we have in the past or to choose what we could get from within. I think it's important that we do it from within though and build that depth. People don't want to see their leaders picked from abroad because they'll feel that they aren't good enough and won't be inspired (I actually read that in a magazine talking about CEO's). So, I think we're definitely on the right track and the Navy is definitely healthier than it's been in a few terms. The image is far more mainstream and we've been gaining active members weekly. One of Switzlanzia's concerns I believe was his rank and that he felt he deserved a higher one. The ranks are on the agenda for the new Grand Admiral. It's never been something to just be given though, you have to really earn them. Thank you very much for your time President, as always its been a pleasure. Anybody your backing in this race or keeping your vote a secret? I rarely even say who I'm going to vote for. All I will say is to encourage people to vote for whoever they feel will be the best Senate Thank you again. Enjoy the rest of your morning President Thank you for having me, enjoy yourself |
