| Welcome to Europeia! So what the heck is Europeia anyways? Can I join? So, I came here representing another region? I do not want to become a citizen. Where should I go? What offices are there for people to be elected into? What is there for me to do in Europeia? That answers most of my immediate questions. What if I have any more? |

![]() President urges citizens to join ERN Reserves Written by JayDee (September 5, 2017) In a message to the Republic, the President made a call to arms for the Citizens of Europeia to join the ERN Reserve Unit. The ERN or Europeian Republic Navy, is the official military of Europeia; under command of the President and the Grand Admiral. Writinglegend opened his address with an emphasis on the importance of a strong Reserve Unit; “A strong reserve squadron is a critical foreign policy tool for our republic, and is an essential aspect of our military operations.” The President would go on to explain the importance of the Reserve, citing their work as a means of increasing Europeia’s diplomatic muscle abroad. “When we participate in an operation that is crucial for our foreign policy, bringing a high tally of reserve forces is a must. We become more valuable, flexible, and influential by doing so.” The President continued in the next paragraph, covering the Reserves importance in helping the Active Duty soldiers when Europeia is on larger campaigns. “[O]ur Active Duty soldiers are the best in the game at taking regions, but their work in holding our targets is incapacitated without the assistance of a robust and timely reserve squadron.” Focusing on the state of the ERN, President Writinglegend referred to the Naval Reserves as “Bare-Boned.” “This is quite simply ridiculous,” he would go on to say later, “...anything short of 15 would be a failure for me.” The President emphasized the large impact that Sailors in the reserve would have for no more than a few minutes from their day. All for only one WA nation available at any time. Multiple former Grand Admirals and current Grand Admiral Calvin Coolidge all voiced their support of the President’s call to arms. Drecq, himself a member of the Reserve Squadron and former Grand Admiral, also cited the very low time required for the ERN Reserves. “It truly is so little work that even I, who cant be arsed to wake up early or stay up late enough to actually participate in missions, can do it.” Another former Grand Admiral, Kylia, joined Writinglegend in urging citizens to join the Reserves, “If you have a mobile WA nation, you can join the Reserves...Your ability to help Europeia outweighs endorsements you can always get back.” The current Grand Admiral, who will be making an announcement himself regarding the ERN Reserve Squadron, heartily agreed with the call to arms; commending the President for “A wonderful thing to draw attention to.” On behalf of the President, the EBC would also like to implore all capable citizens not already in Active Duty service to join the Reserve Squadron. |
