Yute Posts: 5 Group: Members Member #63 Joined: November 18, 2008	My band ShyChlo and the Boys are in the 2nd Round of the Surface Unsigned Competition. There are 4 Rounds, the final showcase is at THE O2!! Of course we would really love to play at the O2, but we need your help to get us there, getting through each round depends on audience votes, so we need to get as many people there as possible. Round 2 is at The Purple Turtle in Camden, London (nearest tube: Mornington Crescent) It's on May 4th (which is also bank holiday monday! So no work woo hoo!) Tickets are Ł7 in advance which can be purchased from: www.myspace.com/shychlomusic, or from any of us directly. You can also pay on the door which is Ł8. There is also a text vote in addition to audience votes, to vote for us text: London 6021 to 64343 (texts cost Ł1) We received over 90 text votes in round one so if we can do the same (or better) in Round 2 that would be amazing. Hope to see lots of you there! This could be a big deal for us if we go far in this competition so please support us. The Surface Unsigned Festival is the largest event of its kind and is a major event in the unsigned music calendar. The Surface Unsigned National Showcase 2009 will be a 2-day Festival held at the popular O2-complex in London. The IndigO2 at the O2-complex has a flexible capacity of 2,400 and has seen acts such as Jools Holland, Timbaland, Joss Stone, Ne-Yo, Usher, Estelle, T-Pain and Busta Rhymes to name a few. www.surfaceunsigned.co.uk
