To crop, you can use paint, or use this simple method. Ok, first get out your image, then: 1. Go to image 2. then go to Scale image. 3. From there, you press the unchain button, and type in what you want to use as your banner size! have fun! |

thanks for the help ashes! i'll try that now. actually, i don't want to take it to paint, because it won't accept .xcf files, and makes it not-HD-ish...

To crop with Gimp go to the tool box and choose crop image. Then, you crop the image by making a box the size you want and press enter. If the image is to big then scale the image by going to Image > Scale Image and choose the size you want. I hope this helps!

it does, but do you know how to make borders? Is it just a line, or something more complicated? and what is the size for banners at Environ? |

To make a border go to Select > All > Border and then choose the size you want. After that color in the border with the paintbrush. I'm not sure about the banner size thing. I'm guessing 800x350? |

Hmm... Interesting piece of graphics you made, Ashan. I'm more of an Abode person myself, so don't use GIMP. I like it. But the dinosaur needs to be more... in sync with the background. It all seems out of place. I like how you used the shadow, most people would of over-looked that. Next think of extras like more custom scenery, which can easily be google'd, and I said before, make that Dino be part of the forest. Also, I relies the legs aren't showing any weight, as it is on-top of the grass, not in.
