Thanks but I really hate this exhibit, it was rushed and I found it hard to find stuff to go with the shark but the other shark exhibit will be much better. |

South Shields Zooquarium Well as promised here is the second update today, hope this one looks better than the first. Sand Tiger Shark Exhibit I turn my head towards the next exhibit but it's so hard to see what is inside. ![]() Once I get a closer look it's easy to tell that the fearsome looking Sand Tigers live in this tank, gulp. ![]() It's like a coastal forest inside the tank, goind with the theme of the rest of the zoo. ![]() These sharks although they look pure evil are quite calm, gliding through the water dodging eachother peacefully. ![]() Although this female likes to get a bit too close for comfort, nice sharky. ![]() The sharks don't seem to mind the abundance of fish swimming above them unlike the Sixgills next door. ![]() That female keeps coming back for more, I wish I was one of those fish now. Look at those teeth. ![]() Well I better go before that shark gets too friendly, I mean I love sharks but this one is starting to freak me out. ![]() Where to next you ask me? Well we'll find out tomorrow won't we unitl then farewell from the South Shields Zooquarium. ![]() Here are overviews of both exhibits with the roof and without. 1. ![]() 2. ![]() Thanks for looking everyone, love it when you comment and give criticsm. |

That is absolutely beautifully done Zookid!! Both of the shark exhibits looks amazing to me, especially the second one. The foliage placement in the tank is excellent.

Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it.![]() If you want a banner like mine, then click on the banner to visit my graphics thread. | |

The sharks in this exhibit really look fierce, I like how you designed the bottom of the exhibit. |

South Shields Zooquarium Thanks everyone for the comments, much appreciated so I thought I would treat you to another update of the zooquarium. Pantropical Spotted & Chinese White Dolphin Exhibit As I walk away from the shark exhibits I see another exhibit tucked away in the far corner of the zoo, it's the oldest one here apparently. ![]() I walk up close to the neat little tank and peer into what lives inside. ![]() And would you look at that, living in harmony are two beautiful species of dolphin, what a utopia. ![]() The dolphins live here in an enclosure that looks very close to their coastal home. ![]() The Pantropical Spotted Dolphin are by far my favourite animal at the zoo just look at that pattern, gorgeous. ![]() While the Chinese White Dolphin are quite mystical when seeing them dance in the water without effort. ![]() The dolphins have many luxurys including a soft kelp bed to rest around. ![]() It's clear who rule this exhibit though as the two Chinese White Dolphin males constantly keep an eye around the exhibit. ![]() Even chasing off their neighbours when they get too close, so much for the utopia. ![]() Well the Pantrocal male returns to wave me off, best be getting onto the other exhibit there is so much to still see here. ![]() Here is another overlook of the Dolphn exhibit, hope you enjoyed this update as much as the others can't wait to read all of your great comments.
