Wow! Some great work here! The seal exhibit is one of my personal favourites, I love the range of undersea foliage there. All the rest are great too, I love the range of beautiful foliage you use. Can't wait for more! |

South Shields Zooquarium Well you guessed right Alloclaw and here it is another update everyone. Leatherback Turtle Exhibit Moving on to the right of the zoo a path leads you towards a quiet exhibit that almost seems deserted. ![]() I take a peek into the exhibit but appears that nothing lives here. ![]() That is until out from the rocks appears a monsterous turtle slowly crawling back to the water. ![]() I decide to go down to the underwater view to get a better look at it. ![]() Well in the water the turtle isn't as lively as you would think, just staring right at me. ![]() I walk to the otherside to escape it's gaze but the other turtle does exactly the same, I'm starting to get paranoid. ![]() But the male soon comes back to life and darts off to the feeding area. ![]() The female is in quick pursuit and leave me just in amazement of their beauty. ![]() Once they get into the swing of things it's real easy to tell why these animals are so at home in the ocean, such graceful swimmers. ![]() This one appears to be getting a little to close and I'm more scared of this than I was the Catfish, best leave while it's still placid. ![]() Hre is a another overlook of the entire exhibit, pray that the next update is in the Tyne & Wear Park for some Tigers but who knows, bye for now. ![]()

Same as Alloclaw, a leatherback sea turtle? I thought it might be a ray, but looks like a turtle. EDIT: Too late! Huh, I posted this RIGHT after Zookid95 posted this update. Weird. It looks nice, but IMO the exhibit looks too small for the turtles. They spend all their lives in the water, only to come on land to breed. There's too much land, I think. |

It's actually alot bigger than it looks plus I based the design off the exhibit at Sea World Orlando but thanks for the comments anyway.

This exhibit is very beautiful with the Palm Trees, it really adds a lot of flair to the exhibit and scenery around the exhibit. |

South Shields Zooquarium Wow coming from you Jaguar thats really put me on cloud 9, but anyway down to business with another update from everyones favourite North East Zooquarium. West Indian Manatee & Mahi Mahi Exhibit After leaving the turtle family in peace I move onto another exhibit right behind me. ![]() It looks like another underwater exhibit yeah my favourite. ![]() It's like another world in this exhibit, especially with two very unusual neighbours living side by side. ![]() I feel this photo is quite fitting showing the innocence of such gentle giant. ![]() They appear large and clumsy from a far but they are quite graceful in the water given half a chance. ![]() But not as quick and as agile as it's neighbour the bizzare Mahi Mahi or Dolphin Fish. ![]() They appear to use their speed to round up a few of the exhibits fellow inhabitants, poor fishies. ![]() They also seem to be quite social animals, often swimming alongside each other playfully even with the manatees! ![]() Well I guess I should be going it's getting late but tommorow is another day and I'm sure the next enclosure will be just as exciting for you and me. ![]() Here are two overlooks showing the full and inside the viewing area. ![]() ![]() Hope you enjoyed and please remember to comment after viewing.

OMG There is almost nothing you could improve... However, I would advise you to use the invisable cornerobject and make the corners of the roof at the exhibit view straight, it will look nicer. ![]() But even without it, it's pure beauty... |
