That is a wonderful alligator exhibit, Zookid! It looks amazing, the underwater viewing area looks great, and I like above viewing area. I think it's cool how you can walk on top of the roof of the indoor viewing area. Great job, can't wait to see more.

South Shields Zooquarium Well it's that time again folks for another look at what the north east offers to wildlife lovers lke all of us. So let us begin our next update at the zoo. Harbour Seal Exhibit Well after taking a right from the Alligator lagoon I notice a small hill, I wonder where it leads to. ![]() It looks like another tank along with a seating area, I wonder what is in this exhibit. ![]() Well I never, it's only my favourite marine critters, the harbour seals. ![]() And it also looks like my favourite exhibit so far, I love this forest of kelp and other plant life. ![]() You can really see how social these animals really are with this family can't you. ![]() They really are much more at home in the water diving in and out of the kelp jungle. ![]() I decide to go up to the upstairs viewing area to get a better look at the seals on land. ![]() It appears they really are more lively underwater as this male shows by just basking in the summer sun. ![]() But in an instant he springs to life to get a relaxing dip in the water. ![]() He pops back up to give me a wave off, he seems quite happy to see me as I am to see him oh well it's tme to go now anyway. ![]() Here is the usual final overlook of the tank exhibit, hope you all like it. Bye bye for now. ![]() Plese remember to leave a comment after viewing, thanks you. |

South Shields Zooquarium Hi everyone my pc was fixed sooner than expected so here is the latest update fresh off the press. Wels Catfish Exhibit After leaving the playful seals I notice another small enclosure right next to the Alligators, how did I miss it. ![]() It looks like another Wetlands exhibit, I wonder what lives inside. ![]() Here is another seating are just like the other two exhibits. ![]() I take a closer look inside the tank and it looks like an underwater jungle, filled with dead trees and grass. ![]() And appearing from the vast foliage is the exhibits residents, the huge Wels Catfish. ![]() This female seems quite contempt looking at her reflection in the tank glass. ![]() As soon as I get close she swims off, how rude. ![]() Or maybe this what startled her, this massive male patrols his territory protecting his girls and their eggs from anything and everything. ![]() He seems to be getting a little close for comfort, better get out now bye bye nice fishie. ![]() Well off I go to another exhibit, I hope it's exciting as this one, here's a overlook of the full exhibit. ![]() Bye for now and remember to leave a comment about what you think after looking, thanks.
