Tyne & Wear Zoological Park Thanks everyone for the comments and I'm sad to say that there will not be many updates left, after this one I believe there shall be only 3 left so enjoy while you can. European Wildcat Exhibit I return the next day to check out the latest exhibit and I here a wonderful thing has happened. ![]() I can sort of spot one of the resident wildcats through the thick foliage. ![]() And I turn my camera to a different angle and see the happy wildcat family by the dead tree. ![]() The kitten arrived sometime after I left, look how adorable she is prancing around the enclosure. ![]() The dad is very protective, roaming up and down trees and the whole enclosure protecting his girls. ![]() The other female is currently pregnant aswell, we expect her to give birth shortly but for now she'll just rest. ![]() The kitten is quite adventurous following her dad around much to his annoyment. ![]() Well this is only a tiny visit to the park so I have to go now but I leave you with a overview of the wildcat exhibit, hope you enjoyed and remember all those who comment are epic. ![]()

Have you ever had a fistfight with a minotaur? Survived a medusa bombing? Killed a merman with a laser gun? Found out what the Trick is? No? http://s6.zetaboards.com/Environ/topic/8760418/1/ Now you have. | |

That's an excellent European wildcat exhibit!! I like the mix of elevation for the guests and a cliff wall as the background.

Tyne & Wear Zoological Park Thanks to all for the comments so here is another marine exhibit from the park with very rare inhabitants. Indus River Dolphin Exhibit I return the next day and search for the exhibit just opened that is next door to the pelicans and penguins. ![]() It looks completely different though to the other marine exhibit with lush green foliage all around the exhibit. ![]() I peer into the exhibit and what do I spot but the critically endangered river dolphins. ![]() The exhibit is filled with broken trees and it's own little forest just like a normal riverbed. ![]() But they seem at home ducking and weaving out of the foliage with ease. ![]() The dolphins are also well hidden here with the amount of broken logs and trees used for hideouts. ![]() They also have their own feshwater kelp bed for times when they like to have time to themselves. ![]() But most the time they'll just take a break wherever they go, lazy dolphins eh. ![]() As soon as I say that he begins swimming full pace through the lush forest and rock formations. ![]() Well I best be off but before I go I'm given a friendly goodbye by one of the females, what gentle creatures. ![]() Here is another bird's eye view of the dolphin tank, hope you enjoyed this update from the park, can't wait to hear what you have to say about it. ![]() |

Thanks guys, I was thinking about doing another update before the Siberian Tiger was released but it's too small I'm sure you won't be bothered so I'm gonna show the rest of South Shields Zooquarium until the WM pack is released ok. |
