Well, this new zoo is located between the cities of San Diego and Los Angeles. It is a zoo run by both the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association (GLAZA) and the Zoological Society of San Diego (ZSSD). The zoo recently opened with only one set of exhibits called "Himalayan Highlands". The species in this set of exhibits include: 1.Snow Leopards 2.Black Necked Cranes and Himalayan Monals share an exhibit 3.Markhors Here are the map and overview of the zoo: ![]() ![]() More pics coming soon... |

Sorry for not having any updates, but I have good news! Three animals have been born at the zoo since the last update. A male Himalayan Monal has hatched and 1.1 Markhors have been born. Also, the female snow leopard is pregnant!!!
