The Lion Preserve is a zoo dedicated to the conservation and protection of Africa's carnivores. Many species can be found in the medium-sized park, ranging from the majestic lions for which the park is named to the lesser-known African civet and the diminuitive meerkat. Hyenas, wild dogs, and small cats are among the few animals on display, with more to come shortly. First pics soon! Get postin'! |

For any of those remaining or wanting to remain in the community Please visit websites Gaia or The Round Table. I doubt that many of you haven't already moved there, but I know stragglers do exist and I hope this guides you to where activity remains, should you still be interested in the game. Thank you. *Sniffs air* Ah... I love the smell of new zoo in the morning. ![]() Lions and Servals The zoo's star attractions are, of course, the lions. The largest exhibit in the zoo is home to a large pride of African lions, including two males and five females. Many cubs have been born in this exhibit; once fully-grown, they are released to the wild. Their exhibit can be seen in the upper part of the overview. Servals are small, elusive, African wild cats which specialize in hunting small game. Their preferred prey includes small mammals and birds, which they catch with an amazing leaping ability. The zoo's pair of servals, one male and one female, have raised one litter of cubs so far, which have been released to the wild upon maturity. They are expecting more cubs soon. A good suggestion, but I'm cutting back on reskins of any kind right now... I don't know why, but I just am. Plus, I've never downloaded any biome reskin. Not that I don't know how to install them, I just never paid much attention to biome skin anyway... ![]()
Thanks! Glad to be here! ![]() The cats are lucky, not to mention the meerkats, hyenas, wild dogs, civets... ![]()
Again, glad to be here! ![]() Thanks! And you know me, I love inspiring. But, to tell you the truth, Jaguar inspired me for this; he's always been an inspiration to me, but I have never been able to build at the level he does... When a few more people post, I'll share pictures of the zoo's family of secretive spotted cats...
