Thanks raptor, didn't see your post. Well, tomorrow is Christmas, and I will be busy celebrating all day. I have EE now, but I didn't get to use it yet. I have all of my exhibits built for the new arrivals. Merry Christmas everyone! |

The Europe Aviary is almost completed! It doesn't even look like the same buidling, it's that much better. I ran into an elevated path problem but that was it. You'll get detailed pictures tomorrow! |

Asian Marshland Exhibit Hello everyone, I know I haven't posted an update in awhile, but I've ran into a pickle of sorts. It appears I've ran out of hard drive space, which means today I'm going to have to go through every square inch of my PC and delete the files I don't need. It's very boring, and I'm going to have to get rid of some downloads and games. Okay, back to our update, the Asian Marshland Exhibit. This medium sized wetland exhibit was built between the North Asia Aviary and South East Asia sections. Inside this exhibit are many fine examples of wetland life of Asia. I think my favorite residents of the exhibit are a noisy mated pair of Saurus Cranes, Grus antigone. These beautiful cranes are natives of South East Asia, India, and even Australia. ![]() Looking in the exhibit, you see three much smaller birds moving through the thick wetland plants. As you read the sign, you find that they are Common Moorhens, Gallinula chloropus. Related to Gallinules, which are water-going rails, these birds can be found in wetland habitats on every continent except for Australia and Antarctica. ![]() In the pond areas of the exhibit, you can hear quacking noises. "I wonder what kind of duck that is?" you think to yourself, but then when one swims past you see that it's a beautiful Mandarin Duck, Aix galericulata. Personally, the Mandarin is one of my favorite ducks. ![]() The last animal in this exhibit is the biggest. It's George, our male Asian Water Buffalo, Bubalus bubalis. It was domesticated in Asia and its use has spread to many other corners of the world. Many wild animals of this species exist, ones that ran away from their herds. In the future, George will be given to another park, and a female Indian Rhino will be taking his place. ![]() That's all the time we have today! I hoped you enjoyed this update, the European Aviary will be up as soon as I fix this hard drive problem. |

Thank you PB and Yurrie! @PB:Yeah, I like that picture too, at first I took the pic and it looked like it was sniffing the duck's butt.

My game is really acting horrible. I may have to reinstall. If I can, tonight I'll post pictures of the new European Aviary.

I had to uninstall JPOG and WLP2, they were taking up to much space and I don't even use them. That means that the European Aviary will be up today! |
