Thanks Life of a dino! To answer your question, I use the larger pieces of the aviary, which will allow tanks. That's part of the reason why I don't use the glass aviary. You look into the next bird exhibit: ![]() Inside you see two birds come out from underneath the underbrush, Crested Fireback Pheasants. The male is dark blue and the female is reddish brown. According to the keeper, the male in the exhibit has mated with this female first and their eggs will come first. ![]() As you view the small pond in the exhibit you see a Lesser Adjutant, a species of stork that has a bald head, showing that it will scavenge on occasions. It does not hunt, however, unless you count fish.

The South America section with the Jaguars is on hold. I figured rather than starting new stuff again like I was doing with that and the NA section, I figured I should finish what I started first. You now go on to view a heavily forested exhibit. ![]() Inside are Sunda Lorises. These small cute little buggers are nocturnal, which explains why they don't do much during the day. They are also normally arboreal. (But we don't know how to code animals to stay in trees, unfortunatley.) ![]() |

Our last exhibit of the day. As you can see, the fence is much taller here because the animals inside are very agile and are natural escape artists.![]() Inside are the comical Red Shanked Douc Langurs. They love to run around and sometimes tease the pheasants next door, who do not like their neighbors. (You can also see the reeeeeeeeally ugly exterior, it needs decorating. I just didn't have time to do so.) ![]() See you later! |

Thank you everyone! The Elephant house is going to be done tonight. @Sophie: Thanks, I was hoping you guys would like the foliage placement in this one. I think I'm mastering it now. @MS: Thanks, sadly, however, now it's only Arowana because the Borneo River Shark kept beaching itself out of the tank, and kept complaining of lack of space. Hopefully I can find the Giant Mekong Catfish from ZT ABC and put those in there instead. @Tigerman: If I have any time, I will try and send it to you. |

Yeah, Lorises and Bushbabies are actually cute. Unlike the other overated prosimians, like lemurs, which aren't really that cute, everyone just loves them for no reason. It's like how everyone obsessed over penguins for a few years. |

Awesome new aviary dude! I agree with you, lorises and bushbabies, especially Sunda lorises, are adorable, I only think mouse lemurs are cute. |
