AS usual, very nice photos!

May I ask what all is happening for the aquatic ARC area?

Thanks everyone.

And Komori you maybe saw it on Tesara ;)

And Macklin, well, nothing (unless you mean I.S.W.R.C., 'cause of the hydrotherapy we provide there). We might expand the tanks for the S.A.S., but the H.A.S. tanks are just fine ;)

Brinestone Park & I.S.W.R.C. Update
See the previous A.R.C. update HERE.
See the previous Brinestone Park update hasn't been showcased.

Verona has started realizing that the new exhibit will not harm her, so she joined Roma in the water during the lazy hot summer afternoons.

Barnaby and Mimi were separated and Barnaby no longer doesn't have access to some outdoor areas. He's been moved two exhibits away from the Nile Crocodile females and is quite enjoying what it has to offer.

First he was a bit anxious to go out...

Posted Image

... but when he did he seemed to like it ;)

Posted Image

Posted Image

Mimi is now resting in the indoor exhibit, she will soon be introduced to the female American Mustangs.

Posted Image

The female Mustangs have already snooped around Mimi's exhibit, however they are there more now when Barnaby is gone. I guess it's his size that's... well, frightening a bit. They're enjoying it, probably more than the males are in their exhibit, but hey...

Linea is getting daily walks with a special parrot leash every morning, 'cause the space she lived in back in Brinestone was huge, and this little aviary is just not fitting to her needs.

Posted Image

Posted Image

Our poor little Kalispell has managed to get sick... we're treating the problem and she'll soon be okay.

Posted Image

The stallions, some, are being ridden on a daily basis due to several of them being award winning champions, so this change of location did not put Brinestone on their owners' good sides :con:

Diabolos

Posted Image

Diabolos and Grim, they became good friends, actually.

Ardy

Posted Image

The old Guanaco left after completing it's therapy, and in it's exhibit we got a Nilgai who recently had surgery on it's leg and is now rehabilitating.

We also got a Manta Ray which is a participant in marine shows and needs some special working out every now and then ;)

Here she is with her trainer...

And here she is doing random turns and flips in her tank :)

Fantastic! and hurrah for my appearance!

So, where did you get all these animals anyway? Well anyway, it doesn't
matter that much. You make use of all these creations MUCh better then
I do.

Though something tells me that you like horses, would I be wrong? :eyeroll:

Brinestone Park & I.S.W.R.C. Update - Special Assistants Update
See the previous A.R.C. update HERE.
See the previous Brinestone Park update HERE.
See the previous I.S.W.R.C. update HERE.

When the sun shone its first rays on I.S.W.R.C.'s surface and gave the signs that a new day is starting, the assistants, that are now finishing up their last week here in I.S.W.R.C., were already out on the field with the animals. Some zookeepers were just arriving at the zoo, and some are a later shift and will be here after lunch.
After talking to the head zookeeper in I.S.W.R.C. I found out that they each got an assignment that usually full-time zookeepers of those specific exhibits do, and that this is a fun rarity, especially for Thor, in charge of the Crocodiles. I decided to go to the exhibit of the American Mustang stallions first, as it was the closest. I couldn't wait to see what assignment Zaniac got!

When I arrived to the exhibit I saw him loading off a biiiiig basket of apples into the outdoor area! The stallions spent the previous night indoors, as it was rather cold outside. Zaniac piled up the apples and opened the outdoor gates...

Posted Image

In the meantime Thor had some issues delivering the huge boxes to the Nile Crocodile's outdoor exhibit. He had three huge pink boxes with green bows on them "For the Crocodiles!", he said.

Posted Image

"How to place them?" he wondered, but after all finished up with a nice design.

Posted Image

He waited and waited for any animal to come out, either Roma or Verona. But, if we consider how long it took Verona to go out and swim - we know who'll try the new additions to the exhibit first...

... Roma!

Posted Image

While I was still in the Stallion enclosure with Zaniac, watching my beautiful Grim eat the served apples, Kevin had another assignment for the females! :)
Similar to all the others, but plentiful, definitely plentiful!

Posted Image

The carrot basked was actually a carrot tower, and I could barely see Kevin's face over them when I saw him taking them out of the staff center.
"They're freshly delivered 15 minutes ago!" one of the keepers yelled after him with a warm smile on his face "Give some to Mimi as well!"
Just as he was about to take a few to Mimi, Kevin heard some loud and strange noises from one of the hilltops in the freeroaming exhibit.
It was one of the females, clearly stuck at the top, thinking it was too high to get down from there! Someone had to help her...

Posted Image

I made my way to Thor. He was standing outside the exhibit, looking through the glass panels and looked worried. The Crocodiles did not seem amused by the newly added items. Roma tried to knock it over and drown it...

Posted Image

Posted Image

... but quickly gave up and realized that she'd rather sunbathe.

Posted Image

Posted Image

And as I was realizing what he meant and why he's concerned, Verona slowly made her way out of the exhibit, swam through the whole pond and exited on the other way, close to one of the boxes. We both stood in wonder as she approached it, doing something herself for the first time without fright!

Posted Image

Back in the female Mustang exhibit, with the hill drama going on, Honey found out that she could eat anything and everything she finds! Well, what's offered is offered, right? ;D

Posted Image

Soon enough others went to join her...

Posted Image

... including Annabelle.

Posted Image

In the meantime Umpa was just finishing up with Kalispell, who is doing much better, and brought a fruit bomb to Linea! :D

Posted Image

The Stallions were still munching (left Ardy, right Red Brick)...

Posted Image

... and Verona still didn't take a bite. Or anything. But she looked so confident while approaching the box, that I must admit I was disappointed.

Posted Image

She sniffed it twice and quickly returned indoors and closer to Roma.

Posted Image

Thor just nodded sadly and left, as the Crocodiles will probably have another go later this afternoon.

The white mare that made her way up the hill was now being slowly led down by Kevin.
"I hope she won't do that again. It's not high, she's just very fragile and frightful."

Posted Image

Other horses that watched the whole thing...

Posted Image

Posted Image

As Kevin brought the mare down he picked up the, rather empty now 'cause all of them are at the enclosure floor, carrot basket and took a few to Mimi. As she slowly made her way with the carrots, Kevin opened up her outdoor gates. Mimi stood there rock solid and didn't move.

Posted Image

Not even five minutes after that Rosheen noticed that something's new, and quickly barged in the exhibit to see who is the little black four legged creature that they now share their enclosure with!

Posted Image

Mimi seemed to welcome her nicely and enjoy her company :3

Less than a week of construction left, some of the stables are being slowly re-populated yet again, now I'm aiming at the Suffolk Sheep herd ;)
