@ Maple > You pull the bananas XD A.R.C. Update > Sunshine, Alice, Bolta, Kimmy, Lightstarter and Alus, the present Przewalski Wild Horses Alice and Sunshine gave birth and here are two new little females, Bolta and Kimmy! ![]() They're adorable, of course, just that Bolta is a bit older than Kimmy :/ Kimmy and her mother Alice (her father is Alus): ![]() Here are the two when it snowed later this past week: ![]() They were the only PWH's placed in the indoor house, as it was rather cold outside and they're still too small, especially Kimmy, who was 2 days old then. We'd bring in Alice when Kimmy was supposed to be fed, and that's it. I'm not saying that the mothers didn't spend all of their time near the indoor exhibit stable bars and the window ![]() ![]() Calling out for moms: ![]() Then turning to me for help: ![]() > Grim, the Mustang Grim enjoys the company of the elderly Esther, the Okapi ![]() He uses all time possible while Arnie is asleep to spend it with her. Maybe that's the reason why he never had any foals in Brinestone...? Arnie being asleep in the PWH exhibit when he and Esther came over to see the newborn, Kimmy: ![]() Esther passing by, you can see Grim's interest: ![]() Grim leaving Arnie in the shrubbery, going away with Esther (keep in mind this is not the first time we've noticed it!): ![]() Interesting, ain't it? ![]() > Esther, Esther II., Pebbles, Arnie, Esus and Esus jr., the present Okapies So, when Alice, the PWH, gave birth to Kimmy, the good neighbors came over to see the newest addition to their huge family ^^ So, the first ones, as usual, were Arnie and Esther. But Arnie was very tired these past days so he spent most of his time actually SEARCHING for the newborn (which was easily hidden away by Alice, hahaha) and sleeping. Here's Arnie: ![]() Esus, however, just came over for a second, SAW the foal and left xD ![]() Arnie "commenting" something with Lightstarter after waking up: ![]() > Linea, the 2009. Christmas present Hyacinth Macaw Linea spent a few days in the indoor exhibit just as a precaution to snowing. As she's a Hyacinth Macaw and not used to low temperatures and such, we think it's better for her to stay indoors. ![]() She didn't mind it at all ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We also added a tiny bit of foliage indoors so that she could have something to play on/with ^^ ![]() > Emily and Cremi, the Tibetan Antelopes Although we said all animals will be outdoors to experience the snow, because of the recent condition of Cremi we decided not to let neither out. Cremi caught a virus of some sort, and although she's not contagious for Emily or the keepers, we don't want to let her go outside. So they're both inside :/ ![]() > Three male Atlantic Spotted Dolphins They were released this Friday ^^ ![]() > Agre, the Olive Baboon Agre likes the snow, in general, but his age doesn't. So he's doing well, but we can clearly see that he's sick and that he's slowly dying ![]() ![]() He wasn't even a little bit interested in snow. > Esperel, the African Wild Dog Esperel is in W.O.O.A.P., in the IC Unit, he's coming back later today ![]() > Otol, the American Crocodile Otol is a very young male American Crocodile with a very serious brain condition. He has an illness of rapidly dying brain cells and we've started treating him for now, but in a matter of days he will be transported to W.O.O.A.P. to get some more tests done. He was delivered to out facility without a notice before his very arrival, so the exhibit wasn't made. We knew he was coming, but didn't know when exactly. So we kept him indoors for awhile: ![]() ![]() ![]() And although now his exhibit is made, we still didn't release him out, just in the bigger indoor area... ![]() A word from me... ... simply enjoy, and keep in mind that the 2009. December Ingame Photography Contest has just started accepting entries! So come on and join!
