Welcome to halfwood before I blab on I will tell you some information on where
the zoo is situated
well it is in north Montana (north america)

First of all look around at the foilage near the beggining of the zoo

Posted Image

We tried to give a prehistoric/tropical look
I think it turned out well what do you think?

Posted Image

Here is some more but be careful
be careful as wild snakes love that terrain and shrubbery.

CAPYBARA

Posted Image

This is the first exhibit we have combined the forest with a lushes waterfall
to create a beautiful effect at the park we have a large group of around 10
consisting of 2 males and about 7 females.

Posted Image

As you can see they love to frollock around in the water
though unfortunatly soon they are moving exhibit to the north side of the zoo
as we are replacing them with a flock of black stork
wich was given by the local mayor! :)

anyway of the next! :D

Para that totally pwns, more amazing foliage choice and placement, I would have thought the Spirit tree would look out of place there but it blends well, as does everything. And the waterfall adds a lovely touch :D

Where'd you get the dead trees/sticking up logs in that pic?
Anyway, AWESOME job! For a zoo in Montana- or any zoo- it really looks tropical! :D

Great use of mixed foliage para!! It really makes everything look so tropical and realisitic. Well done indeed. :)
Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it.

I think you will like the next exhibit

AUSTRAILIAN WONDER

Its a long walk to the next exhibit so luckily theres a bench to rest on
with a nice view.

Posted Image

Heres the view from the elavated path
the exhibit contains crocodiles
and hopefuly soon some wallabies as we are purchasing a large group from
a french breeder in switzerland who has been helping out the zoo lately
and has promised us afew kudu and a gray fox he took from
a private zoo in north france and the foxes in south switzerland.

Posted Image

The exhibit is largely swamp but it has a large grassland for the wallabies
and as you can see the mugger crocodiles (I know not from australia but I have no austrailian croc's)love to rest upon the shore in the hot summer.

note: there will be a bigger update when the wallabies are released
