I found this whilst playing around in the game. Bascially, it allows you to make a (limited) underwater building, though the roof will still be on the surface. You can, in theory, build an entire zoo inside the airlocked building- anything can be placed under there. You can even build tanks and ponds down there. You COULD make another airlocked building inside the airlocked building. Anyway, I figured some people might be able to use it for something. You need :MM: and :ES: for this. Being a glitch, it does have a few bugs.
There are probably other ways to do this- you might be able to build one inside a tank instead of a lake. I don't know. The glitch can also be used to build a somewhat flawed shark tunnel. Shark tunnel inside view. Better shark tunnel, outside view. The animals are still stuck on either side, though, so it's really no better than building an 'indoor' shark tunnel. |

For shark tunnels, I always just put water on 2 sides of a strip of land, put tank walls on either side, turned any water between the two tank walls into land, flattened it, then continued with the flattening tool from the land between the tank wall, into the water outside of the wall, then use a elevated path overhead. But, I wonder if maybe we come to 2 different outcomes. I have to try yours sometime. |
