I might make an iPhone app similar to Zoo Tycoon. (Obviously with a different name due to copywrite though). As some of you know, I develop websites (and know a little about security) so I could even make a website for it. I know Zoo Tycoon is a very popular game, however I have not found a similar game available for the iPhone or iPad. And if I do make this then I know you'll all give suggestions to make it as good as possible! Bare in mind that this is still an idea though and I may never actually finish it. |

Sounds like a good idea, and yeah, unless Microsoft gave you permission, it would have to be a different name. I tried making an app once, but I was told to sign up for an app producing thing to do it, which cost Ł400. >_> |

You need a mac for the official development kit, Xcode, which I have. And then if you want to put your apps on the app store it costs $99 / year and you can upload as many as you want. Currently I haven't made a full app which is worth putting on the app store so I haven't paid this yet however I am willing to if I make a good enough one. When I have something to show you, you'll have to be jailbroken in order to test it. |

Ah ok, thats a lot of money. I can't jailbreak, I'm the wrong version, I cant even use the one specially made for my version. Wait, a lot of apps are crashing and not working at the minuite, so would making an app even work, or is that just on version older Idevices? |

I use iOS 4.2.1, jailbroken with green p0ison. I've never had any problems with it; but that's just me. |

I've worked on it a bit, but I realized that a very similar game called 'Tap Zoo' is already out so I decided not to bother. |

I have Tap Zoo, one problem is that you need internet connection to play it. |
