...what? I like poetry as much as the next guy, but this does nothing for me in telling me about the character. |

Fair enough. I literally changed some words from the poem Rime of the Ancient Mariner to fit my back story and was worried that it was too vauge, so I understand. I am pretty flexible with my RP anyway so everything is negotiable for me. I am thinking about a young Atlantean that born a Nemesis slave. I just didn't feel comfortable enough trying to come in with full grasp of the lore. So he never knew his parents. They were probably slaves too. But that can be plot fodder if anybody cares to use it. So he lived in a kind of work camp out on the seas with other slaves and their Nemesis guards. He works harvesting and scavenging from the ocean floor for his captors. His armbands are of Nemesis make and hold the claws he uses to work on the ocean floor as well as a Nemesis staff used to protect the work camp. He knows he is different than any of the other slaves but he knows nothing of his heritage. My first idea was that they bring in a recently captured Atlantean that tells Atlanton about his heritage. They try to escape, the new slave is killed but Atlanton gets away. It seems quite literally that fate has brought him to Paragon City. I see this character as kind of wild, maybe without much social graces yet with a burning desire to know more about his people, their history and to find a place to belong. Along with a very healthy hatred and desire for revenge against Nemesis. He is a claw/elec scrapper. I figure his power is sorta like an electric eel and his claws are really tools that Nemesis gave him to work with. Nothing will make him happier to use them as weapons against Nemesis one day. Again, very flexible with all of this. |
