I found a rocket launcher that shoots its entire clip in one shot. Unfortunately, it was difficult to aim so I sold it. |

The rocket shotgun is cool, but the sucky part is that the rocket randomly replaces one of the pellets, so you can't aim it. |

So, apparently, I was just getting unlucky, because in 15 minutes of playing now I've found a 200/35 fast recharge shield, and an incendiary 16x12 shotgun with zoom. |

I have been carrying around a level 24 missle launcher since I was level 12, wtf guys? Anyways. Better shield + better shotgun + better machine gun = moving along nicely now, thank you. The combo of the electrical + fire giant badguys mission was holy shit. AGain, I was able to split them up and kill the electrical one first then the fire one. That seems to be what the soldiers does well. His gun can keep one distracted, then you get the other to chase you, and kill the one that chases you, etc. |

I dove all up into my pistol strategy. My setup now is my exploding revolver, a spread fire masher revolver, 1 fire machine pistol and one corrosive machine pistol. I also carry a regenerating ammo combat rifle and an ammo regen class mod for those times when I'm in too deep and short on ammo. I also have a decent SMG as a backup. Grenades are longbow, because LAWL why would I use anything else. My class mod plus skills adds up to around +150% magazine size for all guns. My corrosive machine pistol has a ROF of 14 and a 97 round mag, which means my entire pistol ammo supply is just over 4 mags right now. Did i mention that when I kill someone my ROF increases by a shitload for several seconds? |

I have a soldier who is using transfusion grenades, the ability that makes the turret spit out grenades, and the ability that makes me regenerate grenades when I kill someone. Some fights I kill guys who are on the other side of a building. I've thrown more than 10 grenades in a fight even though you can only hold three. The transfusion grenades send out these white tendrils that seek out the enemy even if he's behind a wall. |

Transfusion grenades are my favourite by far, barring the "lol sticky on an enemy" comedy option. Are you aware you can upgrade your ammo capacity for grenades as well at the grenade machines, like you can for other weapons? Like, I'm pretty sure my grenade cap is up to 6 now from buying random upgrades. |

Yeah, from your stories you definitely were. I played 19:00-01:00 with a friend and my gf and we almost hit level 20. It's way tougher with more players, but the upside is that if one person is unlucky with finding a weapon upgrade for a while, the other 2 are likely to have found something strong for their playstyle and so you can carry each other a bit. It's really nice how the difficulty scales with players with not just more hp but also more enemies. The fights are so much more hectic

I have found the healing grenades to be the bees knees, fwiw. Then again, I think maybe my health/life strategy might be different from yours? |

Yeah, I still have fast health regen. I'll probably switch to transfusion at some point. I might also try out that strat dbuel is using at some point. My alt is level 24 and my main is level 26. I also have a 10 on someone else's account from playing split screen over there. |

I put the first five in Stockpile (anyone near the turret regenerates ammo) The next five in Quick Charge (killing an enemy regenerates shield) The next five in Deploy (half the cooldown for the turret) One in Supply Drop (the turret spawns grenades) And four in Grenadier (killing an enemy regenerates grenades) That's all so far because he's 25 I use a sniper rifle more than any other weapon, although I have this elephant gun that's basically a sniper rifle without a scope. Sometimes I use that, because it's actually more fun to use it since it's harder to use! And as I said, I throw mega transfusion grenades. |
