Unless otherwise stated in your PM, you are town aligned. Rules as stolen from BSG Mafia, as stolen from TF2 as stolen from Transformers as stolen Supervillain as stolen from Anime etc etc etc Rules Okay, I guess you all know the basics right? I'll just go over some of the stuff that I think is relevant. Votes: - Bold them. Vote: Jecht as opposed to Jecht Murray is fine, because it is bolded and uniquely indentifying. - if you do not use a colon, your vote will not be counted, as I may well miss it when searching. - 'vote scummy pants' would not count, even if you make it mostly clear who you mean. - You can unvote if you want by bolding the word Unvote. You don't have to type who you were unvoting. - Heck, you don't even have to unvote before you re-vote. I think I can grasp the idea that if you are voting for someone new, you are actually unvoting the last guy. - No lynch is an option. Communication: - No quoting or displaying of role PM's. Paraphrase all you like. - Communication with each other about game content happens only if you are allowed to and at the appropriate times. Obviously. Any people allowed to talk outside the thread may do it at any time. Please use this to keep nights short - You may only talk about the game during the day in this thread. Not through PMs or other communication means. - No invisible/white text. Just, drop some crytic clues in there etc etc. if you want. It just needs to be visible to the naked eye, okay? - No editing your posts, duh. Dead guys!: - If you die miserably like the dogs you are, don't post game content, or try to affect the game. - When dead, you may post a Go - ! Type message, and feel free to post  to greet fellow corpses on your way out the thread.Game running: - Send in your night actions ASAP at all times. - If, after every so often I will check, you have less posts than the mod, I will warn you and modkill you after that. I'm not going to post often, but if you can't afford the time to post once, preferably more times a day, then why are you playing? - Okay, so maybe I'll just get a replacement. - If you are going to be away for more than 48 hours or so, let us know in thread. - Let me know if you are not using an ability at night. Lynches and whining: - When there's been a lynching vote cast, I will ensure a swift transition to night scene. Until then, feel free to talk, taunt, and complain. - If I'm not about, (it happens on weekends), just be sensible and wait around a bit, or someone else will come and help. - Don't go using foul language guys. This is a show aimed at kids. Hah hah hah! Just kidding. - Be excellent to each other. This is serious! Personal things to consider: - If you don't post much, but post content when you do, you'll be okay. I just want to make sure you realise I will not tolerate a 'no posting' policy. - I have personalised some if not every role PM. You want to try and circumnavigate having to use logic on people? Well, guess you'd better not try and compare stuff like 'the order of words', 'win conditions' etc. - I know this is quite unusual but I've seen it a few times in games where it's happened so I'll bring it up: Don't pull out the 'mod's fault' defense when there is no reason to. Like, if you're caught lying, don't go blaming it on me and trying to avoid a lynch that way. - Not to say that mistakes won't happen. But I am very thorough unless under a very tight deadline, and even then and mistakes are more likely to be hasty spelling errors. If you feel there has been an error, PM me immediately and I'll get on it. Questions: - PM me if you have any questions that reading your role PM does not answer already. I downloaded it once, but the first season was really low quality video, so I couldn't sit through it long enough to figure out if it was actually good television or not. |
