Like I said in the Avatar tutorial, this is one explaining how to post an image with pictures!! You'll start of by replying to a topic, or creating a topic the part you'll want to focus on is here, you'll want to click on the button that says "Image" ![]() This will cause a box to pop up looking like this: ![]() You'll want to copy and paste the URL into this box (ex. www.imagelocation.com) ![]() then you click "OK" and it should look like this: ![]() and voila you've just put an image into your post, now if you're really starting to think you're awesome you can skip a whole bunch of steps and just type good luck ![]() |

Thank you kindly, Sarah! Yes, at the third try I finally succeeded, thanks to Mara. Don't know what went wrong with the first two times! I thought I was doing it the right way, but apparently not. Thanks for the [IMG] [/IMG] bit. That I did not know about! Strictly speaking for myself, I always go for the simplest option (the one I understand the best)--whether it's cool or not! ![]() Thanks again!

Oh dear. [raises hand] I have a very stupid question. What if your image does not have a URL? That is, I have an image on my hard drive (a .jpg) which I would like to post. What to do? Thank you kindly, Lynn |

If it's on your hard drive, then you'll need to upload it to a photo hosting website like Photobucket or Flickr. Once uploaded, copy and paste the image's URL over to here. |

I use tinypic because it's very simple to use and you don't need to sign up for an account.

Just when I thought I was getting tired of those 'Keep Calm' posters, someone comes up with a really good one! |
