Haven't gotten a good pic yet, but Serivity is finally out!!! After weeks of being trolled by Mother Nature, we're in for a consistent week of 50-60F temperatures and a little drizzle here and there. This is a perfect weekend for cruising. Pic to come soon, when no one else's cars are in frame.

Also found out yesterday that I got two of my friends hooked on DS!! I love it when that happens.

Nice weather here too, finally. I love the cold season, but spring warmth is definitely welcome.
It's always fun to share Due South with friends and see them get hooked. :)

Some Canada geese flew back north a few weeks ago and they've been wandering around my block lately. I hear them in the morning and see them fly by once in a while, which is sort of unusual. I like it. I suppose they spend most of their day on the nearby river.

I just finished an Inuit themed painting, I thought I'd share a link if you care to see it:
Jesus Wept, Grollier Hall Residential School, Inuvik, 1960

And I discovered this old tv series called Suaangan on YouTube which shows Inuvialuit people participating in their traditional hunting, trapping and fishing activities. The other night, I watched a trapper skin a muskrat, details and all. Oh boy! Peta activists would get queasy.

I am a vegan, and would be interested in watching that. (I not the queasy type.)

unrelated and unimportant to anything...

I've made it to 'O' in my itunes organization... only 11 more letters worth of songs to go!

and I've begun the arduous task or reuploading/fixing all the images Photobucket screwed over... at least as far as LJ and Ao3 are concerned... I've made it to May 2008 (I started at the beginning of my LJ)... so you know, only 10 years worth of posts still to fix *sigh*

I don't know about the rest of the world, but down here, students are in the midst of final exams for the spring semester, so that could be the case for most.

I'm also still trying to process a new commercial that has one scene featuring "pug bongos."

I'm here! Just busy with work and dr's appointments. Hopefully Wednesday I'll find out what's going on with my heart and hopefully I find out it's just stress.

Oh dear. :o What's going on with your heart?? Any chance it could just be the vagus nerve? That happens to me sometimes when stressed. And usually that's all it is.

Oh, and by the by....annual coming-out pic!!!

That cheered me up, RD. I am feeling unaccountably depressed today. I should be excited, I finally have the date for my work trial (tomorrow) but I am convinced that however it turns out it will be a mistake for me. If I take it and fail some way down the line I will regret not staying in my current position. If I stay in my current position I will probably die of exhaustion. It has to be said that I keep thinking I should have done all this training twenty years ago. Physically and emotionally I am drained. If I crap out before qualifying I will never forgive myself, but I am beginning to think that even if I do qualify I am going to need three months off just to catch up on sleep.

Basically, it feels like a big decision and I just do not know what to do. Plus, the decision might be taken out of my hands if I perform poorly tomorrow - given I have barely recovered from recent night shifts that is a possibility.

Actually, looking at the above it seems that I am accountably worried.

Weirdly that makes me feel a little bit better.

Hello, dueSers!

Just wanted to say... well, hello. :) I just read a few posts here... and hope that things will turn out all right for all of you who are going through troubled times!

I'm still very busy marketing my business. But I ended up going to Spain for two months this spring... well, I'm in Spain now, and I'll try to do some business here as well. During these two months, I'm trying to find out if my idea will work, (tech support for Swedes in Spain...) and I'm also working hard trying to learn how to drive here (it's VERY different from how you drive in the north of Sweden, hehe...) and practicing my Spanish.

No idea where this will lead in the future, but my Spanish side has been a bit rebel-ish lately... ;)

I have so little time for forums anymore, feels like I'm hardly tweeting these days (although, the Sea is just outside my window, so I've been tweeting a lot of "sky-horizon-sea-moonrise" pics lately...

Take care, everyone! I hope you know you're in my thoughts even though I won't be able to spend much time here!

*hugsabout*

I'm still here too! I want to drop in more, but life keeps getting in the way.

Great to see your car out in the sunshine, R_D. :)

BG - Long term night shifts can be a killer. :( Some people seem to love them, but most don't! Whatever you decide to do I hope you at least get some sleep soon. :)
