I think the perfect person won TDWT. Heather fought for the title from day one she stepped foot at Camp Wawanakwa back in Season 1. While she may have overstepped her boundaries during a lot of situations in all three seasons she participated in, she never stopped thinking about the money in the end. It can be argued that she never let anything get in her way, but I'll stick with the thought that a third season win for her was a great way of ending her story. (if she's done competing in the series). That's just my opinion though, I'm curious to see what everyone else thinks. |

Hm, I would've loved to see Noah win. But I agree with Fashin that Heather played the best game and probably deserved it. |

No doubt in my mind that Heather deserved to win for her work- but did anyone deserve it more? Let's look: Alejandro was an antagonist, and Cody...well...Cody was kinda carried by Sierra most of the game. =/ Sierra was too focused on Cody. Duncan won last season and is a jerkface. Blaineley debuted in the middle of the competition, so that's not fair. Courtney lost sight of the million. Owen won TDI. Gwen had too big of a target on her back. (D:) Tyler didn't work as hard as Heather, but he would've been an OK winner. Noah would have been nice... Izzy's kinda crazy, and definitely wouldn't focus on the money. DJ wanted to leave. Lindsay would have been nice, too. LeShawna and Bridgette fell for Alejandro- big mistake. Harold had too good of a character development last season, and didn't need to last long. Ezekiel...well, he's too big of a part of the plot in later episodes. So, Lindsay or Noah winning would be cool, but I think Heather really deserved it. |

Well, Heather's one of my favorites and definately deserved it most, so I was happy that she won. I would not have wanted to see one of the new characters win (even though Alejandro wins in the alternate) or an old winner win, so that rules out 5 right there from the running. As much as I'd have liked to see Bridgette go far this time, she got way off course thanks to Alejandro and didn't deserve it. Leshawna, for lashing out at everyone and not being as strong of a competitor as before also didn't deserve it. Harold didn't last long enough for me to see if he really deserved it this season, but since he willingly quit (albeit after being tricked slightly) he didn't want to that badly. DJ clearly didn't since he wanted to go home pretty much the whole time. Izzy I think could have been a good winner, but she never really plays the game for long, so maybe not. Noah actually was playing the game, so I think he also could have won. Lindsay actually tried in the challenge where she was eliminated and showed leadership in a sense since she just took command and actually managed to nearly build their statue, so I think had she lasted, she'd could have been the winner. Tyler also always tried his hardest even though he usually failed; I'm not sure if that aspect of his character will ever enable him to win unless his opponent screws up or he trips over the goal or something. Gwen could have deserved to win, until she starting dating Duncan which was not handled well and painted a huge target on her. I think Courtney, however, could have deserved to win if she regained her focus on the challenges after Gwen got booted which she seemed to be doing in China; she had a valid excuse for trying to throw the earlier ones after all. Ezekiel, had he stayed in the game, might have deserved the money; he definately hung on tenaciously until the end to try to get it. And last, Cody definately did not deserve it as he only made it this far because of Sierra and his team having enough conflict to boot the others off; of course, Owen who similarly did nothing and just flew under the radar managed to win season one, so the producers might have given it to him anyways. Tl;dr version, Heather is a worthy winner, otherwise I would say Noah, Izzy, or Lindsay and possibly Tyler or Courtney. |

I definetely think there could've been more likable people who I think should've won, like Tyler. But that's what I like about this season; it focused more on strategy than who was likable - Cody was pretty much the only person to stick to the outdated likable/unlikable voting. So, while I would've liked to see Tyler shine this season, Heather definetely deserved that win after all she had to put up with through the seasons. She played the game from day 1, creating the first [and pretty much only] alliance in TDI, helped her teams go on winning streaks, and overall just knew who to vote out and who to keep. |

My choices would be Cody or Heather. I can't believe they were both in the final 3... They just deserved it more than anyone else. Although it would've been funny to see Noah win. Maybe that'll happen in season 5! |

Cody is my favorite character, but I don't really like the way his character was handled this season. He was portrayed as usually imcompetent while sometimes having "Crouching Moron Hidden Badass" moments, pretty much like Harold was in Island. But in the first season, Cody was actually a strong competitor who happened to look weak, especially in the dodgeball challenge and making it far in "The Big Sleep". Obviously he only made it to the Final 3 because of Sierra, but Sierra is also the reason I think he deserved to win. At least Heather wasn't sexually assaulted on a regular basis during the competition. Noah, Tyler or Ezekiel would have been cool to see win too. For some reason I took a liking to the male characters who weren't in Action. |
