It's all over, and Heather's our lucky winner! Pretty bummed there's no Cody ending, but still, Heather rocks! So I wanted to ask all you, what did you think of season 3? Personally, I think it was awesome. Best season yet! It started out really funny and later got all epic and dramatic. There were some things I would've changed (i.e. had Cody win, not bring back Duncan) but overall it was really, really good. |

I don't think so. TDI was definitely the best. This maybe second. I enjoyed TDA though... But, no, TDI was by far. It's classic! |

I, for one, am very very glad to see that the show will be 'returning to its roots' in the next season. The show was originally conceived as "Camp TV," after all .. TDA and TDWT were both fun .. but rather 'gimmick-y,' when it came to challenges. The characters were the main thing that kept the last two seasons really enjoyable. Those characters are what I'll 'miss' most in season 4 -_- .. though, I'm hoping the new cast will prove to be just as fun to watch..! |

Loved the cast this season, everyone had so much to give us. Even if they only stayed for a little while. Bringing Duncan back? Pretty good strategically because man oh man, he stirs the drama with anti authoritative ways! I was so glad to see the two newest characters in til the end, even is Sierra was out, she was still clinging to the show as bad as she clings to Cody! I for one, was kinda glad to see Heather win. I was rooting for Alejandro the entire way, but it was nice to see her finally touch the million. Even if our little Gollum stole it. It was also nice to see Ezekiel hang around, even if he did turn into a Lord of Rings cast off. I was sincerely disappointed in the finale, as everyone else. :[ With such hard contenders this season, and people who actually really played the game, it was sad to see it end that way. I don't really think Cody should have won, but Alejandro should have. That was just cruel! [Also disappointed in the way he ended up as a cheap Darth Vader? Lolz, Chef has skillz alright.] Ill be glad to see the Camp back, should be tons of fun, but I'm not so excited to be getting rid of the old cast. I'll miss them, and it just won't be the same with a bunch of newbs running around. |

See, the thing is though, Duncan's plot could've happened earlier. The writers just love him too much for him to get a placing that isn't ridiculously good, so they tacked his plot into the middle of the season. It was a stupid move on the writers part, since his arrival caused Noah's departure. Had Duncan not returned, then Gwen and Courtney either wouldn't have been in the game, or they wouldn't have returned with anything, and Team Chris would've won the challenge in London. |

I liked the season well, not as well as season 1, but better than two. I enjoyed the singing, but some of the challenges themselves almost seemed to be an afterthought in a few episodes which I didn't like (although the same could be said of a few TDI challenges, especially the one where Courtney was eliminated). My biggest problem with the season was the additions actually. I did not enjoy Duncan returning or Blainely competing. I think the thing that annoyed me most though was the lack of continuity with Leshawna and Heather's "friendship" from TDA. The finale was also a little to random/ripped off/unfulfilling at the very end as well. Overall, good season 8.5/10 from me. |

Season 1 will always be the best imo. I did really like Season 3, but it had a ton of wasted potential. It had my ideal cast of characters, but eliminating the non-TDA guys (other than Cody) was a major mistake. Fans were dying to see more of them. Also, they derailed some major character traits and relationships. I think that I'll always prefer the Season 1 couples since that was where it all started. Having said that, there was a ton of drama and some great lines. I liked it better than Season 2 (which wasn't really terrible). |

God yeah, they certianly screwed up on some parts. They ruined DJ's character completely, but they might have done that in order to get fans to not miss him because they, themselves got tired of him. I also didn't like the whole way they eliminated some of the characters [Like Lindsy. Eliminated due to fashion? Er. That was just plain lame] But the characters made it worth it to me. A lot of the challenges could have been A LOT tougher, and we could have had some serious competition going on. But then again, there weren't many people actually playing the game. We need that! I want to see some more serious competitors like Heather and Alejandro. Die hard adversaries that were the ran the entire game from the get go. |

Well, what can I say? I knew Cody would win when he was proved to be worthless amongst the team. Not even singing? And he made it that far? Come on. I mean even Sierra sang about him in London, he could've said "Nooo way" in tune or something. Well, it was awesome. Loved the whole idea of Team Victory being voted out back to back. Hated Ezekiel leaving so early. Again. The whole Zombie-Zeke idea got annoying to me after a while. Duncan returning? Why? So back to Cody. He did help early on, but he later struck me as nothing. He didn't help at all, really. I'm Peter Oldring was confused when he was left out in the post-merge episodes. I mean really? I would have at least liked an ending where Cody won against Heather, but Heather tells Chris that he didn't sing in ____ and Heather ends up winning. I was hoping for that, and it's not that unreasonable. Yeah, so you've heard me call Cody worthless. :P Don't get me wrong, I Darn you Sierra. 1: TDI 2: TDWT 3: TDA. I'm hoping S4: TDR will be pretty awesome. Go Mike! EDIT: You should take a picture of this. :o It's a rare thing for me to say...lol. But don't get me wrong!! I can't have Pica take my #1 spot. *looks at the #2 chair* *shudders* |

Overall, it's a good season but I think then Bridgette was voted off a bit too early. I can't wait to see how the all-new cast will do in season 4 and if Blainely will recover.;) |

Well, some of my favorite characters were derailed or not given a chance. However, being the Harold-fan that I am, I was content with his elimination. I knew he wouldn't make it far again (I believe he and Courtney would've made a better Final Two in TDA...). |

There was an obvious drop in quality when Total Drama Action aired, the creators went off the writing staff and hired horrid new writers. In Total Drama Island the show was about 22 teenagers aiming for 100,000 dollars. That was it. It's the same in the other season's but it's not nearly as focused on the money, they spend all their time trying to give a plot when really they just aren't doing the parody that made this series so popular. When they give characters plot they're also forced to ruin the characters too and I don't like with. With a new season, new characters, and a new setting you'd think that it would be reasonable to give this series a new chance. But the fact that reloaded will only have 13 episodes and the reason because of that is so they can move on to the next season, it's exidence that they're just trying to rush season four so they can move on to the fifth, so I'll doubt it'll be any good. But of course I'll try to be as open minded as I can. ^^ |

I definately can't argue, but the parody can only go so far. Look at good 'ol Wadey Wilson [For those of you who don't know who that is, he is better known as Deadpool]. You can parody the bad ass superhero all you want, but you have to give the character his own plot and his own character or the entire series stays flat. Plus, without character development, theres no drama and without drama you couldn't call the show "Total Drama" anything. So its kind of a double edged sword. I tend to agree pretty strongly tho, that they have really begun to loose focus on the prize. I think Alejandro and Heather brought some of that back, however, with their super competitiveness to win. Maybe we will see some more of that in the next season? I am crossing my fingers. You never know what will happen. I do not have high hopes for season four, but maybe I am just biased about the massive cast shift. |

Yeah, I get what you're saying. The show used to be a parody but now is not. But is that really a bad thing? In season 1 none of the characters got good devolopment even though we knew they all had some serious potential. In the past 2 seasons, though, we've gotten to know our favorite characters more. Plus, the show is now much more exciting, suspenseful and funny than it was in season 1. I mean, would you really want us to go through the same Survivor parody season after season? I'm really glad the staff shook things up the past 2 seasons. Also, you're saying that the new writers made the characters worse... Sure, that's true for Duncan, Courtney, Owen, and Gwen (all though they were never the best characters in the first place...) But not for the other characters. Harold, Cody, Noah, Heather, Tyler, and more have gotten ALOT more appealing since season 1. |

I'd have to disagree with your point about season one; most characters didn't get developed, but some did. Gwen received the most development, and thus Heather as her enemy and Leshawna as her closest friend got good development. On the bass, Duncan was the focus and got pretty good development, enabling Courtney, Bridgette, and Geoff to get some as well. Owen and Lindsay also got a fairly good amount of development as well. However, some characters like DJ and Trent made it quite far without getting much development; Trent was pretty much only around for Gwen and had very little plot that didn't involve her, and DJ just was developed as a nice guy with no real plot. Harold, Beth, Cody, and Izzy all got some development, with Izzy and Harold getting the most out of that group, but not as much as they would in later seasons (except for maybe Izzy). Ezekiel, Eva, Noah, Justin, Katie, Sadie, and Tyler, however, were all pretty much there just to be eliminated so the others could last longer and get more development. |

Yeah, I never liked the writer's choices of who should go farther than the other. To be honest, I'm getting kind of sick seeing Owen, Duncan, and Gwen go far in each of the seasons. The only character I never minded going far was Heather and that's because she gets some good plot revolving around her. As soon as World Tour started, I thought it would be her season. And guess what? If was. There is no doubt in my mind that Owen will be back in season 5 and willl have an appearance in season 4. Though I would prefer Noah or Justin to have his spot. If I could choose who whouls return for season 4, it would be: Alejandro Ezekiel Noah Tyler Justin Geoff Katie Sadie Eva Bridgette Heather Lindsay Izzy Although I have a feeling it will be screen hoggers that "need" plot. All I know is that Duncan, Heather, Alejandro, Owen, and Ezekiel are definately going to return. |
