Who are your favorite characters from 6teen? I actually like everyone in the main cast about equally. xD Nikki is my favorite though. Her sarcasm is very amusing and she's a character I can relate to. I like her style and how she isn'† afraid to be herself, but sometimes she has her doubts just like the rest of us. Wyatt is a good character as well. He shows a lot of character development throughout the series and he's a really nice guy. Jen is bossy, but she means well and almost always tries to help her friends out. Caitlin is a hilarious character. She's also not stereotypical like one would think. She's not stupid and I believe she was described on one of her character pages as "vain, but not conceited". Jonesy can come off as really obnoxious, but he matures as the series goes along. Plus his relationship with Nikki is surprisingly sweet. Jude is a really out there character. His antics make me laugh and he's really sweet. |

 :duncan: Personally: Jen-Well, I can see why she wants to work so hard, and I respect that, but she also likes to have fun. and that's why she's okay in my book Nikki-She just doesn'† give a damn about what anybody thinks, and she looks awesome all the time, she's my favorite female character. Jude-Laidback,mellow, my type of guy, but the "No Washing" thing is kind of a turn OFF Wyatt-A little high maitinence, but still a nice guy,and a good musician. Caitlyn-Well, she runs through as many guys as Jonesy's been fired from jobs, but she knows what she's doing about fashion and advice. Jonesy-Well, he's a ladies man, a little misogynistic, but that's what I like about him, and Nikki is very lucky girl, because if I was there and Nikki left, I'd snap him up right away. No offense towards any NikkiXJonesy fans. :sierra: |

I love Jude, he's so relaxed and easy-going, but I mostly love how he's so funny and sees things. I also like Caitlin, because she's so girly and it's funny how she's quite Naive sometimes. I love Jonesy the most though, he's so arrogant and I love the gag of him never keeping up a job. What I like the most about him is despite being a Jerk to all those girls, he's really caring for his friends :) It's sweet. |

I haven'† really watched that many episodes to honestly pick out a favorite, but I'd say either Jonesy, Jude or the security guy, though I know he's not a main character |

Wayne. He's hilarious and reminds me a little bit of Noah from TDI. Also love Wyatt because he's a musician. |

I know I could sound like a killjoy here. But here was my honest opinion on each of the characters: Jonesy: Very funny. His relationship with Nikki serves us well to all fans who can canonically relate them to the :gwen: x :duncan: relationship on Total Drama. Except unlike you-know-who with tattoos and piercings, during his time when he and Nikki were not together, he could be like a cartoon version of the musician John Mayer, because of his failed high-profile relationships that end in very bad ways. I think if Caitlin had a song to describe Jonesy as a ringtone on her phone, it would be "Womanizer" by Britney Spears. One problem with him: his recurring gag of not being able to hold a job for more than one episode, and getting fired or quitting because of them. I am not saying that that was bad, but it would have been better if they deviated from that standard in the later seasons, especially when it would be getting old near the end, like having him lose multiple jobs in the same episode, or him actually managing to hold a job for more than one episode. He combines the get-rich-quick schemes of Eddy from Ed, Edd, n Eddy with the male chauvinist ideas of :ezekiel:. Still, an awesome character! Nikki: See Jonesy for part of my opinion on her. I liked her constant sarcasm and toughness throughout the series, and her idea of individualism against the popular fads. Her parents were also funny. But there was always something about her that rubbed me the wrong way: They could've made her parents funny without mentioning the fact that she and they were Asian. When I first started watching the series in the fall of 2008 (Cartoon Network picking it up made me want to give it a shot), when I heard she was Asian, I immediately began thinking, "Oh, not another Heather." Wyatt: He was cool, especially because of his girls are better personality and his music career, but his insecurities and cynicism almost completely cancel out his compassion for everyone else. One notable fact that was strange about him was his failed relationships, that for the most part, were not actually his fault. He has a tattoo (albeit small), but he believes in luck too much, and his constant liking for coffee just screams out to us, "He has become an adult-like person too soon." The ironic thing is that Wyatt is the least favorite of the male main characters, in my opinion, because he was the one that was the most mature and therefore, least funny. Jen: Very responsible, extreme Type-A personality, and for the most part, nice. When I first watched the show, I was interested in Jen ending up with Jude. But over time, when I saw past episodes, I realized that Jen has the same type of character as :courtney: from Total Drama (not the one who is her sister on the show; her sister was cool). Except unlike you-know-who with the lawyers, she actually tries to balance responsibilities with fun, and that makes her nice. Her loud voice and short temper cancel out her likeness for music and her jealous, non-shallow, good reasons for breaking up with boys are not so good. Part of this was not her fault; she had the job with the toughtest work and toughest boss. But I always think that if Jen could learn to mellow then and be more nice, like Jude, then she could be as good a person as Emma from Stoked. Jude: WHAT CAN I SAY? Mellow + overly relaxed + skateboarder + Dude + Bro and Bra + Christian Potenza as voice actor = ONE OF THE BEST CHARACTERS EVER! He was so funny because of his eccentric behaviors, such as naked skydiving (nice peace tattoo you-know-where by the way), taking a vacation in the mall, replacing all currency with the barter system using food, and donating 17 pints of blood just for free doughnuts and stickers. His speeches were so EPIC, and he never stops short of surprising everyone with something with his answers to life. One thing I did not like about him was his complete lack of personal hygiene (if he even cleaned himself once a week or something, I would be willing to overlook the rest). But, the most favorite part of him in the series were his two main relationships: with Starr/Nebula (which I miss), and the one I always wanted to happen but did not, or not in the series so far anyway, (if it does, it will happen in a movie) with Caitlin. I always dreamed that Jude and Caitlin would end up together in the future, married...with children. I still dream that the 6teen version of :geoff: x :bridgette: could happen. Caitlin: It was funny that she went through boyfriends like Jonesy went through jobs. She was my favorite female character on the show. See Jude for her relationship story of why I liked her. Also funny were her constant need to shop, her fighting over boyfriends, and her constant arrests. I wished that the CBS sitcom Gary Unmarried stayed on for a longer time, because I found out that her voice actor actually played herself on the live-action show, in Season 2, playing Gary's girlfriend and boss. Other characters: Starr (weird sometimes, funny others), Coach Halder (too redundant character), Ron the Rent-a-Cop (funny), Wayne (Justin's voice made me like him), The Clones (see Coach Halder), Tricia (the actual another :heather:), Serena (not enough screentime to develop as a character), Marlowe (see Serena), Darth (stereotypical geek), Julie (see Darth), others not enough screentime. |
