Singing is redundant.

I've talked to Brain Froud (the voice of Harold) via Youtube and he said even he doesn't know about Season Four will be. It's confirmed there will be one but it is in very early stages.

I think "Total Drama Comedy" is very possible though despite the fact I don't like the idea.

Ok, but you're talking to a guy who listens to stand up all the time. It's always different. And don't tell me that when you heard of TDM, you thought, "That doesn't sound right. They'll be singing all the time." I'm pretty sure they could put in some fun challenges. I see it as sort of being like Total Drama Theatre.

Actually, they don't always sing in musicals, so I knew it wouldn't be constant singing, maybe a song or two every episode, but that's about it.

However, I'll admit, I did believe the challenges would be music-based, kind of like how TDI is Survivor based and TDA is movie based.

I just don't see how they would do stand-up every episode, it just seems so random. I mean, turning it into a musical is also random, but at least songs can be made up on the spot, there are only so many stand-up routines they could do.

They can do just as much stand-up as they songs. It is just stand-up is a lot harder to come up with. (Good stand-up anyway)

If they can pull that off then "Total Drama Comedy" would be decent. However if we get the type of stand-up "jokes" that involve someone intentionally say a bad joke and have awkward silence. Then it probably won't be too good.

But hey let's see what they got.

Exactly what I'm thinking Waffle. Plus, all the good comedy routines have been taken by professional comedians.

However, since TDM is around the world, I can't wait to see what they'll do with season 4! That's the main reason I can't wait for the next two seasons.

Also, when they say Total Drama Comedy, a sitcom also comes to my mind. An image of Owen sitting on the couch yelling "Honey, is dinner ready yet?" Izzy walks in with an apron on. "You just ate dinner 6 minutes ago!" *laugh track*

UGH!! I would hate that. But I always imagined the 4th season to take place in a huge house where all the contestants will live in for many weeks and live with each other. The house will look like a mansion but the problem is they still have to design the inside of the house. Like get food, design rooms, oh it could be like House Redesigner challenges. In the end, the winner earns 10 million dollars and keeps the house. The 4th season whould either be called Total Drama Household. My other idea for the 4th season is Total Drama Olympics, and the contestants have to stay at a sport community and the challenges will be sport-themed...including dangerous obstacles in every challenge. I think my first idea could be more possible.

What about something Big Brother themed? Or Ultimate Gamer themed?

Happy New Year everyone.
It's been a while since anything's been posted -- and a lot of emails and comments have come in. So I thought I'd answer a few.
Season 2 -- the finale....
First off, there has been a lot of debate and discussion about the ending of season 2. There seem to be a lot of folks who think one version of the ending is the "real" one and the other is a "fake" one. I've even read a conspiracy theory that the alternate ending was thrown together at the last minute in order to confuse or mislead the viewers. Here's the real deal:
From the very start of the writing process of season 2, it was decided that there would be 2 endings. This was done so that no-one (not even the crew) would know for sure who would win -- and that there could never really be a leak, making sure that there would still be some suspense leading up to the finale. The decision as to which ending would air was left up to the broadcasters to decide -- and Teletoon and Cartoon Network each chose to hold votes from viewers to pick their winner. Both of them are the real endings. This is exactly the same as season 1 when both Gwen and Owen won.
The idea that a second ending was just whipped up at the last minute comes from a lack of understanding of how the process works. These shows are written 6 to 9 months before they are animated -- it takes a lot of work and a lot of time to get the finished episode -- something that wouldn't be done just for kicks.

Season 3 --- Info
I know a lot of you are anxious to find out about season 3. Unfortunately I can't spill the beans on too much. I can tell you that production has almost completely wrapped up though. In fact, wiriting has already begun on season 4!!
There are lots of comments and emails about the cast of TDM too. Those of you who are threatening not to watch if so-and-so isn't on, or if that evil what's-her-name is on should just sit back and chill. It will all make sense when the season airs.
When will it air? .... I have no idea. Maybe this summer? Maybe in the fall.
In the meantime, I will start posting some of the artwork from season 2 -- show a bit of the process -- and as info on season 3 is made available, I will try to share it.
Cheers,
Mark

Just something interesting I'd like to show from the TDI Blog. It's strange that a TDA special wasn't mentioned.
